The sunset, the cemetery dog and the family home on the market. I see it as closures and new beginnings.

I wonder if the dog has someone buried in the cemetery. If that's the case, it's nice that she has new people to take care of her. I also imagine she would be good for the people who visit. My parents home used to be magnets for stray animals, as if they knew the people there would be kind.

Talon -

Thank you - it was a nice moment, that. And I sure hope the house sells quickly - it needs a new family.

Jannie -

Have one for me! Another good one!

lg -

I've gotten sentimental about Milledgeville now. There won't be much reason to go back once the house sells, but I can still go down some Saturdays to the cemetery and to visit my friend in town.Lynnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13984802196897920610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5753548867758581514.post-1130949518185230032011-02-21T12:57:50.516-05:002011-02-21T12:57:50.516-05:00G -

Then I tried to enter from the service entrance and it was blocked, too. That's when I looked down that day and saw the dog, so patiently waiting.

When I was there this past Saturday, the 19th, I looked up on the hill and there she was again. I was able to get her story from the guy who runs the place. I forgot to ask her name though.

Granny Annie -

Me, too! And I wonder about that - the caretaker thought someone put her out. Sad, but she has a great new home.

It was a good thing for me it was closed. I was totally going to get something good and call it lunch.

Lance -

It is the good life, for sure. :)

FB -

Such nice people there - and you're right, it does restore faith in humanity.

Mama Zen -

Thank you - I edited out most of the houses and kept the rooftops.Lynnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13984802196897920610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5753548867758581514.post-44939447295489183902011-02-21T12:39:54.082-05:002011-02-21T12:39:54.082-05:00Lovely muted tones in that sunset shot,Lynn.
