What??? A perfectly wonderful thing to "do." So I avoid that question now and usually go with "how do you know ___?" Or "what brought you to Atlanta?" So that is why I list my volunteer work first when asked what I do - it define me, I think.

Joe -

Thank you - just away for Saturday and Sunday as usual. You are like that yourself!

xo

Talon -

Hostas are my kind of plant - they don't need too much coddling. I wish I had the gardening gene, but unfortunately do not. :)

Absolutely - a good thought about volunteerism.

Shyamanga -

What a great quote - I looked it up and it is by Tony Robbins. I used to listen to his motivational tapes.

Jackson Browne - I don't know that song "Too many angels." Looking that up now, too. :)

Meredith -

That is so nice of you to say - I love my volunteer work.

I got that cherub from The Gypsy Camp sale in Decatur, Georgia. They used to just open every now and then and sell stuff they found on their travels. He makes a nice addition to my angel collection. He is sitting on bricks that came from my late grandparents' back yard, spotted on my last walk through the house and yard before it was sold the next week.

Jingle -

Thank you - happy Belated Easter, to you!Lynnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13984802196897920610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5753548867758581514.post-43865413129106795802010-04-05T12:26:47.578-04:002010-04-05T12:26:47.578-04:00http://jingleyanqiu.wordpress.com/2010/04/04/easte...http://jingleyanqiu.wordpress.com/2010/04/04/easter-sunday-awards-to-fill-your-basket/

Happy Belated Easter!Linda Bob Grifins Korbetis Hallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01546696605935159862noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5753548867758581514.post-41319688545706026162010-04-05T12:26:33.477-04:002010-04-05T12:26:33.477-04:00nice thinking!nice thinking!Linda Bob Grifins Korbetis Hallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01546696605935159862noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5753548867758581514.post-90863151489055675352010-04-05T11:30:47.251-04:002010-04-05T11:30:47.251-04:00Welcome back, Hosta!
