View from the heart tower and a lake, parts 1 & 2

- I'm having computer issues at home, so looked at old blog posts for my photo this morning. This was the view of sunrise from the "heart tower" at the Macon Medical Center is central Georgia - taken two years ago today. So lovely that heart patients (and their caregivers) get to have an uplifting view like this when they are awakened way too early.

- Niece Amanda took these two photos of the lake on the property in which she works in the Florida panhandle. I tend to think it was a sunset rather than a sunrise. She is not known for early rising.

Well that view would just about make up for being woken up early I suppose! :D

Amanda takes a good shot!

Beautiful sunrise and sunset and I love the quote by Browning. I need to get myself a better camera. We have amazing sunsets here in Florida and I've yet to photograph one.

Sorry about the computer. As you know I can identify with that!

Still, these pictures are so lovely I'm glad you shared them.

I can identify with your niece. I almost never take "sunrise" pictures, but I have lots of "sunsets":~)

Hope things are up and running smoothly again SOON!

I love that last photo--and the Browning quote is a treasure.

I prefer a sunset as I am not an early riser, either. ;)

(long whistle-) thanks for the pretty sky colors! That sunrise would be the high point of my day- Haven't seen a "more pretty" example here in several weeks.
I hope you get your computer to behave very soon! Hope it's not a virus-
I hate ccCleaner Day- all the history for fast clicking goes bye-bye n all is a chore to navigate again for bill-paying, ect. Hope yours isin't too costly-

Thanks for the pics Lynn's Niece Amanda! Nice job-
I tend to see both sunrise (before bed) n sunset (after getting up) each day- but we are too cloudy again!

Kewl pics.

Haven't seen anything like that in a long time.

Defintely inspiring and relaxing at the same time.

Notice all the computer problems so many of us are having these days? I am convinced it is a conspiracy by the manufacturers and retailers to get us all lined up for Christmas computer sales.

Well from what direction are those pictures taken to determine sunrise or sunset? Regardless they are all beauties.

Amanda is not known for early rising. :) That's me in the summertime.

I like those old-timey looking water towers, so quaint.

Sorry I'm a day late. I did read your post yesterday, and finally getting to comment.

Enjoy your coffee morning!!

Joe -

I had slept on the couch in my dad's hospital room and ran out to my car while they were giving him his wash and was lucky enough to get that shot.

Amanda really does do well, but lives in the perfect place, too.

Mama Zen -

I'll tell her - it's a lovely spot.

Scarlet -

She took those two pics with her android phone. Something to think about.

Sara -

I know - and I have a new one that is half way in. I got frustrated with all the cords and need to finish.

FB -

Thanks, I'll let her know.

Not a bad post for the beginning of the week and no computer at home that's working. :)

Sage -

Thank you! I love that quote, too.

happygirl -

I'm eternally up early, but never want to be. :)

Snaggle -

The weather here is just weird this week - way too warm. I'm wearing a summer jacket today.

G -

I'm glad I could do that for you. :)

Granny Annie -

I should have called them Sunrise Sunset like the song.

Yes - and I had to buy a new computer, too. :)

Jannie -

It's always good to see you here, my first blog friend!
