First tooth, old home week and lucky to get them

- Great nephew Monroe has gotten his first tooth and is feeling chipper about it (at the moment.)  :)  He's six months old now.

- Some fat Carolina wrens visit the bird feeder on my back porch and hop about.  They have been around for a few days, making me wonder if they are from last year's nest in the bird house.

- The hot food bar at the natural foods grocery is a hit and miss kind of thing by the time I can get there sometimes.  Last night at 7:30pm, there were two brussel sprouts left, which I quickly nabbed in my takeout container.  The young man who refills the dishes says I need to get there earlier because "everyone loves them."

Oh, I love brussel sprouts, too. I've never seen them at the food bar at my store. Little Monroe is a cutie. What a smile. :)

I love Monroe's happy smiling face. Gorgeous. You can keep the brussel spouts though. Poison. My mama told me that I couldn't be a vegetarian because I refuse to eat them - but she was WRONG.

I'm not a big brussel sprouts fan, but the same things happens at the hot bar at our natural food grocery. I never go at night, but on the weekends, you need to get really early!

Monroe is so adorable. I imagine both Monroe and his parents are happy about the first tooth coming through!

The birds are eating me out of house and home. Still, I love to watch them. I had a couple of bluebirds check our house. I'm not sure they will take it, but I liked seeing them:~)

We don't see much of brussel spouts here in our neighbourhood market and yes, we do love them too :D

Oh I bet Monroe wasn't happy while that tooth was coming in. He is so precious.

You race to the store for fresh vegetables while we rush to the local deli (in a gas station) for the last of their morning fresh donuts. Ya gotta get there very early.

A run on Brussel Spouts? Who know, I thought I was the only one who liked them. That's a cute great nephew you have!
