It's that time again, coffee break and delicious description

- It's Girl Scout Cookie time!  My favorite Thin Mints, purchased from a polite young lady (a coworker's daughter.)  That's freezer condensation you see on that tube of Thin Mints remaining from the first box; frozen so I am not so inclined to pop so many of these addictive cookies at once.  :)  Back in the freezer they went after their morning photo shoot.

- Thin Mints arriving at work while I still have half a travel mug of coffee from home left.

- On our third day of rain, reading a friend's facebook post last night:  "The stars are amazingly bright.  The breeze.  Delicious."  And then going back to see where she might be (because it didn't sound like Atlanta right now) ... and she is in the Virgin Islands.  :)

How many servings in a box of GS Thin Mints? Two. Of course. :) Good luck making them last.

Where is a good Girl Scout when you need one? We never hear from a cookie seller and have to seek one out in order to get cookies. Perhaps with all our health problems we will fore go the search this year.

It's way too early to be hungry, and guess what? Your post had that effect on me! I doubt there are any vegan Girl Scout cookies, but I will endeavor to find out.

I'd still be popping those cookies, straight from the freezer. ha,ha!

Oh, what the Virgin islands wouldn't cure for those of us craving sun right about now!

Canadian Girl Scouts don't sell the same flavours as in the U.S. I am a little jealous. ;-)

Worlds and time go by
spinning flashing
light and sound
yet we're there
or are we
going on
yet briefly touching
not long enough to know them
long enough to feel them
but long enough
to think we're not alone
and yet we are

Just saying HI

I shared two of them with our shipping manager, who looked at them longingly, but otherwise - yep, I ate the whole tube before the end of the day. :)

Granny Annie -

I know - feast or famine. I see them outside drugstores sometimes, with parents standing close by.

Riot Kitty -

What would a vegan Girl Scout cookie be like? I am curious now.

Leonora -

I have my tax appointment tonight and my accountant and I are buddies. I might take that loose pack with me to share.

When I read Judy's post, I thought, "What delicious breeze? It's just cold and rainy." Then - head smack - of course she's on a vacation. Good for her and I love the lyrical way she describes where she is.

No Thin Mints???? That's alarming. And I think it might be the oldest flavor - I remember them from childhood when I sold them myself.

Ellis!

How lovely to see you. And a lovely, lovely poem, too. Thank you for that.

Thin Mints are the best!! And I think they are even more perfect straight from the freezer.

I haven't many Girl Scouts selling cookies this year. The door-to-door thing isn't happening anymore. :/

Enjoy your yummy treat!

When i was a scout I used to devour alot of those Thin Mints very fast! Sold more of those than any other always- Also liked Samoas , but so few in a box as prices rose.
The Virgin Islands sounding nice n warm right now- We just had 3 more snow inches.
Happy Valentine's Day!

So I hear. :)

Oh, I can identify with your last of the "threes." Instead of screaming "Where's the beef?" I'm crying "Where's the sun!" We get brief glimpses of it and then it's just gloomy and drab.

I can't have girl scout cookies in my house. I might donate, but if I have the cookies, they don't last more than a day...well, actually more than a hour (if I'm really honest).

May the sun shine soon for you:~)

Yummy on the cookies! I can't resist those Girl Guide goodies :)

Ah...how sweet it would be to be under the stars in the Virgin Islands!

Sara -

I talked to my sister in Monticello, FL yesterday on our respective drive homes and she described your weather as just that - drab, gloomy, chilly. We did get the sun yesterday - I was cooped up in a windowless office all day, but it was still nice to know it was there. :)

Yes - I took my accountant that loose sleeve of Thin Mints last night for our appointment - she was so excited. No one can resist, it seems.

Talon -

Me, either! And yes - it sounds so delightful - I'm glad she's having a good time. Wish I was there. :)
