Message to the tooth fairy, chocolate cake and another treat

- My sister Jo used to ask her girls to put their tooth in an envelope for the tooth fairy, so the tooth fairy could find the tooth easily and transport it better.  She recently rediscovered the stash of envelopes the tooth fairy kindly left behind and this note from niece Amanda was the funniest.  (Note that the "t" in "not" has been cut off.)  There was another that said, "Please leave money, I'm begging!"

- Having a post breakfast piece of chocolate cake at work with the delicious coffee from a travel mug from home.

- And packing a couple of buttery Caramel Pecan Bars for today from the bakery in my sister's little town in Florida.  They are my favorite and she brought them Friday when she came up to visit.  They are in an air tight container and just begging to be finished.

With all that chocolate cake and caramel bars, it is no wonder you are having thoughts of the tooth fairy! LOL Did you mean "post breakfast" or post birthday? I figure the cake is from your birthday celebrations:)

Your nieces sound adorably funny : )
Caramel pecan- two words could not be combined any better! Given any choice in a candy shop, I always go for anything 'caramel pecan'.

Granny Annie -

I KNOW! I was so full of sugar that I had a sugar crash around lunchtime. :) The cake was one my boss at work made for me. So nice of her.

Leonora -

They are wonderful young women now and still adorably funny.

I wish I would send one of those bars to you. So good.

Joanne -

It was insanely busy at work today, so the treats helped. :)

Thank you - me, too. :)

Okay, my stomach is growling. Yummy chocolate cake and caramel pecan bars in one post! So unfair:~)

I adored the notes to the tooth fairy. The last one, ""Please leave money, I'm begging!" was the best! That kid must have a great sense of humor.

Thanks for making laugh today:~)

Riot Kitty -

You are always getting something good to eat - I hope you did. :)

Snaggle -

I don't know how much these girls got, but they were good little savers, I remember.

G -

I am pretty sure she didn't know she was doing that, but it probably worked.

I wonder why they aren't showing up - I also wondered why you weren't coming by. It's good to see you now.

Chocolate cake is my favorite. I'm glad you got some, too, for your birthday.

Talon -

I know - so cute. :)

Sara -

Those pecan bars came from a wonderful bakery not very far from where you live. I'll share - just let me know.

I'm so glad I could make you laugh - I like that.

I too really laughed! Thanks, even more of a treat than I'd imagined, this post.

That tooth fairy note should be framed!! :) Ahhhh, so so cute. And sounds like a child who is quite contrite and the Tooth Fairy could maybe leave a lot of loot, and a reply saying "It's okay, you're still an awesome kid." :)

Funny, eating a raspberry / oatmeal whole Foods bar right now. Maybe next time I'll go for their caramel ones, probably very similar to the ones your obviously wonderful sister brought to you.

Those yummy things always DO beg to be finished, don't they?? They usually don't last too long around here.

xoxo
