Moonstruck, ignore and annual visit

- A most lovely and thoughtful friend sent this "un-Valentine's" present from far away - a note on gorgeous notepaper and Moonstruck chocolate:  dark chocolate sea salt almond.  Yum.  I always think of that film "Moonstruck" when I see that word and those fun, quirky song lyrics, "When the moon hits the sky like a big pizza pie, that's amore..."

- And just to show how amore resistant the blogger spell check is, it wanted to correct the spelling of amore to:

am ore
Armory
armorer
More

And there was my favorite option:  Ignore.  :)

- Seeing my already beleaguered accountant perk up when I show up for our tax appointment bearing Girl Scout Thin Mint Cookies (she got the loose sleeve, pictured on Wednesday, not that other whole box - it's mine, all mine.)

She's got a long way to go until April 15 - so glad my taxes are 90% done.  :)  And I'm loaded up with chocolate goodness - look out weekend, here I come!  I hope your weekend is loaded up with good things, too, my friends!

And I was singing the other day "When You Get Caught Between The Moon & New York City..." I guess "Arthur' Song.?" New York Moonstruck indeed.

You are so sweet to the Girl Scouts.

I actually got a lot of my tax stuff organized of late, and that feels good. And I love that I repurposed an old rectangularish basket to stand my file folders upright in. Maybe I'll write a poem about my beautiful tax basket and post it on my blog. :) There's only 1 broken bit on it which can be easily photoshopped over for the post!! :) Or I can photograph it from the other side, perhaps in a field of lilies or amidst the paperwhites. :)

And don't worry about me if I'm not posting soon. I'm working more on my song art than blog art lately, as I'm going back into the recording studio next week.

Hey...Happy Valentine's Day :)

That chocolate sounds delicious. I'm all for celebrating Un-valentines day, myself. That song makes me think of Dean Martin. When I was little I used to watch his TV show. There would be a knock on the door and he would open the door and his guest would come in. He always seemed surprised by whomever was at the door. :)

Some of the best things in life are chocolate. I have an appointment with our accountant next week (to do last year's taxes). I hadn't thought of taking him chocolate. Its a thought...

What a fun and yummy post! That "dark chocolate sea salt almond" bar sounds amazing! Better than Girl Scout Cookies, I'm sure. :)

"Ignore" and "chocolate" are incompatible ;)

Jannie -

Another great Moon song from a film.

Please post about your tax basket - preferably in a field of lilies, or just in your house would be good, too.

Good for you - getting back in the studio - I'll be looking forward to the results of that.

Shionge -

Thank you, my friend.

I used to like the Dean Martin show, too. I have an old cassette of his hits somewhere. Might have to dig that out.

Talon -

Thank you and you, too.

Ya think? :)

The Elephant's Child -

I was so impressed with my accountant's grace under pressure - so many interruptions and she got everything right. She deserves chocolate every day.

It's so good to see you here! xo

Ily -

I'll find out sometime today, but I suspect you are right. :)

You are correct, my friend! :)

Granny Annie -

There's time. Hope you are in less pain this morning.

Yum is right!

You have the bribe your accountant with thin mints? I'm saving mine for the IRS guy in case I'm audited. :)

The auto correct feature on the iPhone makes the craziest corrections, too. :)
