- I spotted this plant at the Kroger (grocery store) near my office a few weeks ago and brought it home because of its gorgeous blue blossoms. It's Blue Daze Evolvulus, but I just call it Blue Daze. :) It is a cousin to the Morning Glory.
- Its blossoms are closed in the evening when I get home from work, so my only chance to see it in all its glory are on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Blue Daze...just sounds like summer, doesn't it?
- And for something entirely unrelated: I spotted this recipe for Nutella Brownies on someone's facebook post this morning and am adding it to Pepperplate. You can see the last few recipes I added - mostly summertime dishes. I love Pepperplate because I can open the app on my phone at the grocery store and view ingredients. My sisters got me started - it's a good tip to pass on, I think.

What a gorgeous plant! Love those blue blossoms.
I do not have a smartphone so I wonder if I could add the Pepperplate app to my Kindle. Guess all I can do is try.
It's cool how the blossoms open and close. Nice color, too.
I love cool apps like that and I just tried Nutella muffins from the French bakery last week. To die for!
That is a most Beautiful plant---Gorgeous Gorgeous Blue....WOW!
Nutella is certainly having a resurgence----I first heard of it in the early 1980's.....and then it got all quiet....Now, it's back with a Bang!!! YUM!!!
Blue Daze is stunning. And fills me with yearning. I wonder whether we can get it - and whether it is as invasive as its cousin Morning Glory?
The Blue Daze is gorgeous!
Blue days would all be good if they looked as beautiful as that blue daze! :)
Love the idea of Pepperplate! That's a clever App isn't it?
The flowers are lovely and I like the name Blue Daze. I'll have to write about character with eyes the color of Blue Daze:~)
I also like that blossoms open and close...nature is so clever:~)
Hope the summer is going well for you:~)
A pretty flower, Very nice close-up.
This year have hardly done gardening- warm clear weather has been so rare so far- Cool 60's again today. Next I'll look in Home Depot for petunias or impatiens. Seedlings are still so small that I planted!
I really like Nutella too- by the spoonfull! Brownies won't last long around here...
Hi Lynn - lovely impromptu buy - looks very peaceful to have hanging outside ... while the app sounds interesting .. I've never been that keen on Nutella - but chocolate brownies .. not those I could eat til the cows come home - but I'd burst by then!
Happy summer days .. Hilary
Yet another lovely flower I've not heard of before. Am I the only person who hasn't tried Nutella?
I have to say Nutella brownies do sound lovely but just thinking about them has added 3 pounds to my weight! :D
I don't have a phone so can't use any apps!
