Getting a treat, Lamb's Ear and something purple and beauty

- Friend Laura's dogs, Dori and Macintosh, anticipating the treat a nice man is about to give them.  He always has a bag of treats for dogs walking in the park and they assume this position at the mere sight of him.

- I titled this photo, "Lamb's Ear and something purple" because I don't know what the something purple is, but they are beautiful together.  Some nice ladies maintain these islands of flowers in the park where I walk on the weekend.

- The sun was smiling down at wildflowers that have taken off in a field shadowed by lots of power lines.  There's an occasional red poppy in there (you can just see one in the back peeking over the others heads.)  It was a beautiful morning for a walk.

Cute dogs! The purple flowers look like Yarrow and they are very pretty! I have a yellow variety, but I like the purpley pink ones better.

Your pictures amaze me. I loved the one with the ray of sunshine on the flowers. That's lovely.

The dogs made me smile. I miss not having a dog. They give so much of their hearts to us!

I agree about the two different colored flowers. I've never seen "Lamb's Ear." I wonder if grows this far south. It looks like your walking path is filled with beauty and I love that you share it with us:~)

Is there anything better than a good dog? Yes: two good dogs! They're so sweet.

Your pastoral pictures are lovely.

Dogs can be so good when they know treats are coming! Sweet looking dogs your friend has- That is a lovely garden combo. I've seen ferns with similar blossoms around here. But there are so many new varieties, I'll never keep them straight!

Gorgeous wildflowers in sun shot- I planted a mix of some,n still trying to figure out what's there besides Shasta Daisies n Bachelor Buttons. Not in flowering stage here yet!

It looks beautiful indeed! My little bro and I have been going for lots of walks, and although it rained today, we went anyhow.
