Wind collection, peachy and resilience

- The wind collected the leaves into a nice little pile on my back porch on Saturday.  I was going to sweep them away, but then decided I kind of like them there.

- The sun was hitting the bakers rack full of cookbooks in my kitchen just right on Sunday.  This is one of my mother's teapots - she had an extensive collection of them.  This one honors the state of Georgia as "the Peach State."

- And like everyone - my thoughts and heart are with the people of Paris.  There's no making sense of this tragic event.  I loved the display of resilience of the fans leaving the soccer stadium event Friday as they sang La Marseillaise.

Love your porch, and your teapot. Like you, my heart aches for those targetted in the obscenities. Paris, and everywhere else....

Hi Lynn - delightful left leaves, while your peach teapot is fun - a good reminder of your mother. Paris is just so so sad - Hilary

Those leaves add charm to your back porch. Looks like a great place to hang out with a cup of hot tea and a good book. Can't wait for the wind to pick up so I can wear my jackets and boots again!

Love the teapot!

Yes, Paris will rise again.

The leaves almost look like a beautiful Sculpture......Love that Tea Pot....a sweet reminder of your mother, I'm sure.
Indeed, what happened in Paris was a shocking horrible horrible tragedy....So very very sad and scary, too. My heart goes out to all those effected by these horrific attacks. The world has gone mad. As Ileana said, Paris will rise again!

There really is no making sense of ISIS and what they do to people, but the French will get through this because they are "formidable!"

I love the pumpkin teapot! And always appreciate you finding the good in the everyday, even when it seems like the world is blowing up around us.
