Annual treat, taking over and gazing

An annual treat to myself - a Lindt Gold Bunny  and I like to see it sitting around my kitchen at Easter time. :)

Lenten roses in the Greenway Park in Lilburn, Georgia.  Friend Alice was giving some of these away from her garden - they tend to spread out and take over.

Gazing at a magnificently flowering tree at the book club host's home in the early evening last Sunday (the friend pictured above and I arrived at the same time and gasped at the glory of the tree.)  There was a long discussion about what sort of tree it is - the consensus:  some version of a cherry tree.  We think.

I love Spring.  I hope you have a wonderful weekend, my friends!

Did I forget you were in a book club or had you told us before? Anyway I think that is great and wish we had an interested group around here. When will you actually bite the bunny?

Spring has been better since I killed my hornet's nest.

Yep, a little holiday chocolate goes a long way for a good mood! Lent is almost over. Yay, but I work all weekend. Pretty color of blossoms there! Maybe black cherry tree?
Hmmm I thought Annie would ask, do you bite off the ears or the tail first?

Oh! Dear! I shan't let Clint, my Lindt bunny see this post! He'll be shivering in his gold coat!! Clint has held residence in my fridge for the past few years, and there he shall remain safe in the knowledge that I will never eat him! lol

I hope you have a Happy Easter, Lynn. :) (Clint sends his best wishes to you, too...and says he's glad he's here in my fridge)! ;)

looks like some kind of cherry tree to me, but then the various blossom trees can be confusing

Happy spring and happy Easter to you, Lynn. I hope that the Lindt bunny doesn't foresee the the end may be near. Do you eat the ears first?

Sounds creepy to ask, but how tasty was the bunny? :)
