Another rainy day, ginger cookies and fallen

- Another rainy day, but the trees sure are beautiful.

- Someone putting out a package of Biscoff cookies at work and they are gone in a flash. They are my favorite snack on Delta flights, so I just manage to snag a couple to have with my hot red tea.

- Sweeping all the fallen maple leaves off my back porch makes me recognize it really is no longer summer. So the blue and white striped throw rug is rolled up and stored away until it is warm again.

I'm sweeping up the leaves outside today and I can't say I feel so joyful! Maybe I would if I had a couple of those cookies!

Joe -

I do remember that you don't like the leaves. Sorry. Do you ever fly Delta? If so, ask for the Biscoff cookie option. :)

I absolutely agree with you, the trees are beautiful.

I always think grey skies make the fall colors really sing. I wish I could crazy glue the leaves back on the trees here - it's a blah blah world now.

Cookies are known for magical powers!

Thank you for stopping by!

I love that idea of crazy gluing the leaves back on. I miss summer, but not the heat and humidity.

Tea and cookies - lets have some now. :)

Oh, this was a beautiful post. Cookies and red tea, bright leaves and a realization gently received :)

We don't have mature enough trees to create leaves, or the wind blows away the few leaves we have, so I am always envious of people who have to rake leaves :-).

Oh, and I love rain. It's been a dry fall so far for us.

Meredith -

Thank you and I hope your vacation is going nicely.

Wow - what would that be like? The condos have people to come in a blow them into piles and then they bag them up.

Rain - we either have a lot or not enough. Such is life. I am fine with a lot.

Cookie -

Your nickname suggests you might like cookies. :) Cookie eating is much better than dealing with leaves.

Riot Kitty -

It makes me feel as if I am having a proper teatime.

They are on the wane, but still lovely...
