If only they could pot themselves, warming up and a vision

- Those plants aren't going to repot themselves, I guess.  :)  There are a few plants that need new pots - at least I summoned up the energy to buy the stuff to do it.  Maybe next weekend.  I particularly like that pot on the right - made to look like stone, but it's resin.

- Signs of spring:  on Saturday the day started out in the 30s, but warmed up quickly and people were walking around in shorts by the end of the day.

- A little girl comes to church in a fairy princess dress - lots of tulle, pink tights, mary janes and a pearl necklace.  I tell her she is a vision.

Experienced the same thing this past Saturday as well.

Day started out sunny and blustery, so when I got home, I added my jack to my hoody to do a few more errands.

When I got home, the day had definitely warmed up to the point where I could survive the day with just my hoody.

We resist planting or potting anything because it will need care.

We keep getting fooled. One day is beautiful and warm and the next day it is snowing. Literally. We had snowflakes on Thursday!

She will remember your words for a long time.

Looking forward to getting out and digging in the garden! I like your pots; I stick to cactus as it requires so little care!

That pot on the right is gorgeous! I'm about ready to get to work in my garden.

It was lovely here yesterday - unseasonably warm and no one is complaining :)

Just think how happy those plants will be in their new homes, Lynn! ;)

You inspire me to plant something. Probably just some little 6-paks of impatiens here and there, Thankfully the deer do not eat those, one of the few they won't.

You gonna wear your tulle tutu next week?? :) :)

G -

I almost lit the fireplace when I got up Saturday - it was a little chilly, but the day ended with people in shorts.

Granny Annie -

I can't say I'm good with plants either, but I do OK with geraniums and such.

Yes - the weather is definitely strange.

That little girl is so funny and whimsical - I loved that she wore that outfit to church.

You usually have a lovely garden, as I remember. Definitely vegetables anyway, right?

Mama Zen -

I'll bet you'll have a great garden.

Talon -

If I ever get around to doing it. :)

Jannie -

I'd have to look for it in my size, so probably not. :)

I want it to warm up here, too. Send some spring this way, yes?

I am hanging out for autumn here. Cool nights where a body can sleep.

Small princesses in tulle seem to be a universal phenomemon. And a delight.

Don't feel bad about waiting on repotting- I never did any in the house last year- All the old Jade n Aloe is languishing, then there's the Xmas Cacti, n African Violets... I bought the dirt at the start of Feb, then got so sidetracked-
We were in the 60's today! I had to take benedryl cause the pollen allergies are beginning. Beautiful out-
The little Girl sounds quite entertaining... Perhaps a future costume designer?

Buying the pots is half the battle!

Riot Kitty -

I wish it would just average out! :) Hey - your avatar is animated now!

The Elephant's Child -

I actually turned the air conditioning on last night at my house so I would sleep better. We are in a strange place in which we could get another blast of cold weather so I am reluctant to take the winter bedding off just yet. Yet I am perspiring under it most nights. :)

Snaggle -

Good - it's not just me procrastinating! I am under allergy attack, too.

I don't know - no siblings in sight for her. She is an only child with lively parents and doting grandparents right across the cul de sac, so she gets lots of attention and conversation with adults. She is a smart little girl.

Joanne -

That's what I keep telling myself.

FB -

I do love pots. :)

Seeing your pots reminds me of some plants I need to find bigger pots for them, especially one African violet that decided to clone itself:`)

Our weather is so warm. It feels like we're skipping Spring and heading straight for summer.

My thought about the little girl is how wonderful her parents must be to let come dressed as she must have chosen.

I can remember we had to wear our special church clothes. I would have preferred to wear my cowboy outfit, but never was allowed:~)

Your funny - no those pots are not going to fill up on their own - lol. sandie

Sara -

Same here with the church clothes - I like that the parents let her be who she is.

Sandie -

I would just like to wave my magic wand and they'd be done. :)

It always amazes me how some little girls embrace their girlie sides so early, and yet others don't. :)

Have you repotted your plants yet? ;)
