Paper clock, like being at a wedding and package

- This paper clock that I made during a paper company's "lunch and learn" program.  We were given a bunch of material to choose from and told to be as creative as we could as we assembled our clock.  Me - I just stuck to the basics, got it done and am pleased that it works!

- My coworker notices my almost daily morning snack of graham cracker with a bit of peanut butter.  She asks if I've ever had a graham cracker with vanilla icing.  No, but I have now.  I bring the graham crackers, she brings the icing and I think it tastes like wedding cake.

- And then there's the dark chocolate that came in the mail, courtesy of a good friend, that inspired a little after dinner nibble with a glass of red wine.  Yum!  And it's fun when a package comes in the mail, isn't it?

It's Friday!!!  I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

I love the clock, even I could read that without my glasses on! :D

It's great to receive a gift in the mail, or even something you've ordered on-line. :)

Have a lovely weekend!

Yes~ it surely is! I sent my sister two pieces of fancy chocolate for her Birthday and she was delighted!

And she didn't share!

(Very nice clock, Lynn. Well done, I would say!)

And have a great weekend!

We are taking a day trip to Asheville on Sat. so I should have some good pics to share; my daughter's B-day present. Yes~~hours in the car with wildly giggling girls.

Leonora -

Thank you. Oh my - I was sitting at a table with a bunch of creative people. I felt a bit intimidated (they were all trying to out do each other), so just made short work of making my clock. I found the directions on how to put the clock mechanics together and ended up helping all the creative types with that part of it. :)

Joe -

Thank you - I like it, too. I love getting packages in the mail - so much fun.

Joanne -

That's one of my all time favorite snacks.

Sage -

A blessing is right. I'll say!

Oh - I love Asheville! That sounds lovely - even with wildly giggling girls. I hope you have fun.

Hmm. I love graham crackers and I love pb, but haven't tried them together. I love getting personal things in the mail. So much is online these days, it's nice to get a real note.

Love that clock, Lynn. Awesome job. And that's the best kind of snail mail - the sweet kind! :)

Have a lovely weekend.

I only check my mailbox once a week, however if I thought there might be chocolate in there I would be checking it every day!

Mama Zen -

Thank you!

lg -

I wish I could, too! It sounds like a lovely time.

Riot Kitty -

It's what I call "happy mail" - so much better than bills or junk mail. :)

Try the graham crackers and pb and let me know what you think - it takes me right back to childhood.

Talon -

I think so, too!

Sparkling Red -

I get so much mail, my mailbox would explode if I just checked it once a week. I guess much of that is catalogs.

I want that clock! Wow you are quite the creative one aren't you?

Okay now try graham cracker with a little Nutella and the icing and it just might come close to a S'more.

So you are trying to tell us that you can "nibble" dark chocolate? Yeah sure:)

LOVE your clock. I wish my office had arts and crafts sometimes. I had a bit of a relapse in my cold. I'm better now and looking forward to enjoying delicious snacks like chocolate and red wine. YUM.

Ahhhh, wedding cake. I can taste the champagne and feel the dancing now. :) I love the white twinkle lights for decorations.

AWESOME paper clock. So... you are an artiste of other meduims besides word, food and photo. But why am I not surprised?!!

I sent mail once. :)

And is there chocolate here? I think Jim did buy a bar the other night I stashed atop the fridge. Already had my wine. A cup of tea will be nice now.

have a great weekend full of fun. Well, it's already half over, ain't it? I snoozed, I loozed on being anywhere close to commenting first on this. Some days are like that, I guess.

xoxo

The Elephant's Child -

Thank you - it was fun making it. :)

Granny Annie -

I do love Nutella - might have to try that!

That particular chocolate has a very instense dark chocolate taste, so I did kind of nibble, but, er, several times, so it's all gone now. :)

happygirl -

That was more of a client relations thing - they threw in the clock making thing at the end as a fun exercise.

Jannie -

I like twinkling white lights at a a wedding, too. :)

And I hope you enjoyed that chocolate.

xo

Sandie -

A miracle indeed.

Snaggle -

I'm glad to hear you are feeling better. I hope you found your chocolate stash.

I am very impressed with that clock! It's more than just a simple design. I love the size of the numbers...always an issue for me. I also liked the red in the background as I am a big fan of that shade of red.

It is fun to receive gifts in the mail, especially chocolate. Lucky you:~)

I hope your weekend was nice.
