Veil, luxury and glistening

- Looking through a veil of leaves at the Hiwassee River.  How I miss the river.

- A lovely dark red polish applied to my toes during the luxury of a pedicure.  Life is often so hectic at work during the day, that the 30 minutes of peace and quiet was a treat.

- An early morning check of the temperature outside - fresh and cool.  Glistening drops on the begonias give away the bit of rain that fell during the night.

Ah - the weekend.  A gift.  I hope yours is wonderful!

We have as scene like that of the Neosho River and it too is lovely framed by the trees. A peaceful feeling.

We fell asleep to rain last night and awakened to that sweet sound and cooler temperatures this morning.

We are hoping for a weekend gift in the form of my son visiting:)

I miss the lake outside our house in AZ, there is something very calming about water. Well as long you're not drowning in it. :D

Have a lovely weekend Lynn!

I am so glad the weekend is here. Even though I only worked 2 days. Yay weekend. Fall has come to the mid-Atlantic, too. I love it. Enjoy that pedicure. Bliss.

Weekends can sometimes be hectic for me... Nice picture of the river. I spent so much of this summer on lakes that I've kind of neglected rivers. But the boat is now out of the water, so it'll be the canoe till ice comes.

Joe lol!
We'll be missing the leaves soon enough. I like all those different levels of green in your river pic.
Can you believe I haven't had a pedicure before? I do have a foot bath thing rarely have time for. Glad you got some cool air n rain to save you watering duties.

Your theme for the week-end seems to be peace- Hope you find some no matter where you are.

Drops of rain or dew glistening on flowers is one of my favourite sights. Some mornings it almost makes my heart burst with happiness.

Hi Lynn ... a walk along a river bank with so many images .. trees, lace, sparkling water, little eddies and then the sun peeping through at times and those birds singing ...

Veil, luxury and glistening - such a lovely description ..

Cheers Hilary
