Wildflowers, under-the-bridge art and unexpected affection

- These wild daisies seem to be all around lately - a true gift, especially when surrounded by clover.

- The under-the-bridge "sanctioned graffiti" artist I posted about here, has finished that side and is now working on the reverse side.  He glances my way when I stop to watch and gives a pleased smile when I tell him how delighted I am with the whole thing and that I've enjoyed watching.

- A friendly Golden Retriever veers my way on the walking path while its owner chats with a friend.  I give it a quick passing head rub and receive a lick on the finger in return.  A dog kiss - unexpected and sweet.

It's the weekend and I'm happy to see it coming.  I hope you enjoy yours!  And happy first day of summer!

I love daisies. They always make me smile. :)

I wonder if the sanctioned graffiti is as fun for the artists as the spontaneous kind? We have a few areas here where graffiti artists have done some city-commissioned artwork and I love that it remains unspoiled and beautiful.

Happy first day of summer, Lynn!

The first day of Summer! I cannot believe it! My Birthday is next week, and it feels like it came around much quicker this year.
A kiss from a dog---how very very sweet!
Have a great weekend!

I clicked on the link to see the street artist's work and I'm hoping you post another photo of his finished mural. It's going to be very cool, I can tell. Love your daisies. Enjoy your weekend!!

Animals are so much better than people on the whole, don't you think?

I always like daisies- not allergic! Friendly dogs are great.
Most here are tied up n barking alot-
Bet that painter feels appreciated even tho he's not done- tough to work in public sometimes I think- no way to hide the half-done part.
Have a good week-end! I'm busy working alot as usual-

The approval of a passing dog is no small thing! Dogs know who's nice and who isnt. :-)
