Sit a spell, pure bliss and confetti

- What a nice idea - a chair right in the flowerbed.  At Green Willow Gifts in Hayesville, NC.  If you click on the red link, you can just spot it in an early photo (far left in front of the house) of the shop on their website.

- Back home, on Wednesday, at the shopping center that houses my favorite Chinese take out place, nail salon and grocery store, I had ordered some Hot & Sour soup (battling a cold) and also needed milk.  The nail salon is right in the middle, so I skulked past on my way to the grocery store, hoping not to be noticed.  But on my way out of the grocery store - there she was, waiting on the sidewalk, my nail technician.  She had a look at the state of the polish on my toenails (bad) and tried to lure me in.  So funny.  I promised to return on Thursday and did go back last night for a blissful spa pedicure.

- Getting out of the shower at my condo and spotting an errant piece of confetti on the floor.  :)

And it's the weekend - so looking forward to it!  I hope you have a great one, my friends!

Happy weekend to you, Lynn:~)

The chair is wonderful. We just did some landscaping and in one shady place I can't wait to put a wooden swing. I want to paint it red. The chair made me think of this.

I hope you feel better soon:~)

Confetti in small amounts is so cheerful! Hope you feel better.

I love the idea of a chair right in a flower garden.

Garden chairs make so much sense. I have a wooden plank set on stacked bricks in my deck garden.
That soup sounds good-haven't eaten Chinese in years. Usually drink mint tea when have a cold.
Confetti never quite gets cleaned up, does it?
So hot here tonight, people are lighting off fireworks- So I guess the party isin't quite over! I'm not used to Sat Night off- Enjoy your week-end!

Even snails, caterpillars, butterflies and birds need somewhere to sit out there in the garden! :)

I knew that confetti was going to turn up again and you probably still haven't seen the last of it.

A chair in a garden reminds me of the old iron bed in the garden that they called the flower bed.

Now I am looking sadly at my worn out manicure and pedicure and perhaps I will take care of that today.

That chair looks like a lovely spot to sit and relax. Throw on a couple of pillows and it would be absolutely perfect for an afternoon of reading.

A spa pedicure sounds like some sort of torture to me! :D Do people notice the state of other people's toe nails!
