Thursday treat, all done and the forecast

- Coworker Joanne brought these in to work yesterday as a treat.  They are from Sublime Doughnuts that I've heard so much about.  It took about five seconds to go off my diet.  :)  That one on the middle right - the "A-Town Mocha" (the A standing for Atlanta), was one of the best things I've ever eaten in my life!  So I had to blog about them.  There are two locations in Atlanta and one in Thailand (?), so if you are ever there, I recommend them.

- My sister and niece are on their way to visit from Florida to celebrate Mother's Day weekend - an annual tradition now.  I hurried up and finished all my spring potting and re-potting and am finally pleased with how it looks.  It was 48 degrees outside on this cool Friday morning when I transferred the Mexican Heather to that pretty green pot I found at Ace Hardware this week.

- Look at that weather forecast!  I texted this to my niece last weekend so she could see how cool it will be this weekend in Atlanta.  It's been very hot and humid in Florida already, so she is excited.

Have a lovely weekend, my friends!  Hugs to friends who are moms and celebrate this holiday!

Hahahahaha, what you call cool weather, I call a lovely summer day! That's the range of temperature I like best. Of course, I'm Canadian.

Your cool weather is as hot as I like it.
Donuts? Not for me. One of the few treats which don't tempt me at all. Which is lovely.
Love your pots (and plants).
Have a wonderful weekend - and I love that it is a family celebrations.

When it heat hits 72, I rejoice as well. If only it would stay there. We live in San Diego, but inland. Ocean is 45 minutes away. We will have 100 deg. when the ocean has 72.

I think that you need to go through the donuts one by one and tell us what they are! They look like the kind you have to try (one of each!) YUM. Yum!!!!!

I have co-workers who do the doughnut thing every once and a while, so all I can do is sit and drool.

Glad you had good weather, 'cause this week we had rain and temps in the mid 50's.

Both of my children were here yesterday but won't see them today. They had to get back to their homes before storms of the week arrived. Doughnuts are of the devil. They cannot be resisted and I have had to stop going to Sunday School because one class member always brings doughnuts from Donut Palace. Doughnuts and white bread are the two worst foods any of us can eat.

I thought that "o" was the only vowel shape for donuts. Now I find out that there are also "A" donuts! What's next? "E"? "Y"? ;-)
