Good Things Happened: Hello Spring!, Dreams, Moody view

The proprietor of my favorite little antiques / cool stuff shop in Lilburn, Georgia created this homage to Spring, which is almost over.  Sure has been beautiful.

Early last Saturday, the young 'uns were up and at it at the ball field at Mountain Park Park.  I titled this photo Field of Dreams and wonder how many dream of being big leaguers.

And there was a trip to my favorite mountain area the weekend before that.  It was a soggy trip, but I didn't mind.  I read two books on the back porch and just watched the river go by.

The last photo is of the drive up the mountain to my sister's vacation house.  Loved the mist on the mountains there.  Hope you all are well.  I'll be around for blog visits the next couple of days.  Hugs!

Did you go to Brasstown Bald while you were there? We were supposed to go to the mountains last weekend but after all that rain, we cancelled it. No need to go when the main thing we wanted to do was to hike on nature trails!!
Lovely photos!

Speaking of ballplayers, my Tigers had the number 1 pick in the draft and took a young man from Auburn. Not sure if that is near you?

Hello, I like the chair with the welcome spring display. I saw photos of some flooding rain around the mountains. Sitting on the porch reading and watching the river sounds relaxing.
Happy Friday, enjoy your day and weekend!

You are blessed to have a place to go like that. I LOVE the color and the rocking chair!

Soggy and misty is good...and particularly when in a mountain region like that (and like the one I live in). I love those kinds of days.

The past couple of days here it's been trying valiantly to be like that....I wish it had tried harder...but beggars can't be chooses...so I'm somewhat happy with what we got. :)

Hi Lynn - wonderful photos - and that Spring basket sunk in the chair is just lovely to think about ... as I sink into chairs with a book in my hand. It's been raining here and we have an outdoor event later on - the car guys won't mind the mud ... and I'll arrive without the mud and just enjoy mixing in! We've had some sun ... not sure how long it's going to last - beautiful clouds building up. Enjoy the weekend ... and all you do - cheers Hilary

We are actually getting a Spring this time here. Haven't seen Baseball yet. Want to go to Cape League. Yay river time!

There's nothing like sitting and reading on a rainy day, and it seems you had a great time doing just that Lynn. We recently went to a local ball field which has collegiate summer games and it's a fun time out especially since we get hot dogs for dinner.

The clouds in that lost photo look very dramatic!

When we were in AZ it was the opposite, far too hot to sit outside, so I enjoyed reading my book inside and doing very little. It's always a treat doing nothing.

And I think Spring is officially over now, even here in the UK.

I have been absent for quite a while and it looks like you have been taking time off also. Love the pictures and the restful things you have been doing.

Hi Annie! Yes - all is OK though. Hope you are well, too. I'll call you soon.
