Craft, calm and taking the afternoon off

- A discussion about this charming Christmas tree, apparently made of cloth napkins.

- Acting as Liturgist for Sunday service, I am a little nervous, as always, but find the presence of a loving family sitting in the balcony calming.

- A lazy afternoon napping and pretty much doing nothing.

Peoples' creativity never fails to amaze me.

I used to sing solos at church as part of the service but I haven't kept up my vocal strength and am kind of scared to go back, in case they ask me to sing and I sound not great. And even saying that is stupid I know, as I'm letting God down. But maybe if I get involved in Big Sisters or some other community service, he might overlook my shying away from the church solos?

Saturday Kelly and I went all out, all day, but yesterday we lazed and it was great!

I don't think you are letting God down by not singing. But maybe if you went back and just told them you aren't ready for solos, but just want to sing with the choir, your vocal strength might build back up! I wish I had a decent singing voice, but I just make a joyful noise. :)

Yeah, maybe that could work.

Kelly and I are going around the block caroling tonight! Her suggestion. That kid sure keeps me on my toes!
