Doors, heartwarming and lucky

- This artwork from the State of Georgia art collection housed at Georgia Public Broadcasting. Since it isn't labeled, I think it should be called "Doors." :)

- The rain is relentless and attributed to Tropical Storm Ida passing nearby. This kind of weather always makes me want comfort food. So cold, damp and tired at 7pm, finally making it back to my neck of the woods, and calling Main Moon to order up Spicy Szechuan Shrimp. The smiles of the proprietors and later, the food, warmed my heart.

- A late night knock on the door - I know it is neighbor Rhonda because her dog Lucy is barking with authority. She hands me my soaking wet wallet that she spotted lying beside my car. I am very lucky to have a neighbor like her.

You are funny. :)

My heart was in my throat when I saw and it all flashed in front of my eyes when I thought about how bad that would have been. All the cards, etc. spent the night drying on a towel. About half the stuff in there could be thrown out. :) She is a wonderful neighbor and a good thing Lucy needed to go out!

Some art leaves me scratching my head...looks like someone got a discount on doors at the local DIY store :) It probably has a suitably obscure name like..."Entrance to Eternity" lol!

Truly lucky that Lucy returned your wallet safely before you even knew it was gone. Serendipity!

As one door closes another one opens.

Your neighbour was very good to return your wallet to you. :) I lost my car keys in a shop once and a guy tracked me down and gave them back to me. He'd seen them on the floor. He could have easily gone outside and pressed the remote button to see which car it would unlock.

I know! And the doors are slightly ajar. They look larger than they actually are. Head scratching indeed. :)

Serendipity - a good word for it.

I like that title. If someone ever thinks to label this one, I'll report back.

She is a great neighbor. My brother-in-law left his wallet on the Metro train in Washington, DC once and he got it in the mail with all his cash and credit cards in it.

Whoa, very lucky indeed on your neighbor!

Those doors remind me of that Disney kids' movie "Monsters Inc" Cute movie! You ever seen it?

What time are you usually in your car driving home? You don't get home until usually 7:00 you say??

Someone kept trying to give me karits today - but I didn't want them. I wanted a Snickers Bar.

Jannie -

Oh Jannie - what a crazy week. I had to meet with a client at her home and didn't leave until 6:30 and ended up getting home with fast food at 7:30. Long day. At least I got somewhat healthy fast food - Subway. :)

And I haven't seen that movie - maybe I'll look for it on Netflix.

I think those doors are about a foot high - I'm going back there tomorrow and will check. It is kind of like a nightmare...

It's a sweet movie. I give it 3.5 out of 5 stars. Kelly of course gives it a 5. She gives almost all movies she likes a 5. :)
