Crystals, great joy and look out on a summer's day

- The chandelier over the mezzanine in the Lunt Fontanne Theater in New York City, taken last Sunday before I knew that photos are verboten. Yikes. :) We were waiting for the play The Addams Family to begin and I was thinking how clean all those crystals look and how hard they must be to get to.

- Sending out an approval request for a committee activity that I consider somewhat routine and receiving a response from a man who is happy about it: "Approved with great JOY!" I thank him for his exuberance and for making my day.

- A happy accident, but surely a little cyber synchronicity at work among blog friends. Pulling up my blog this morning to see that Talon and Jannie Funster have inadvertently synchronized titles (see my blog roll to the right) that are the opening lyrics to Starry Night by Don McLean. Thanks, beautiful ones, that was lovely to see.

Duh @ me, I didn't even make the connection on Jannie's. Got to love that synchronicity.

...approved with great joy!! Now...that just has to brighten any day!! Love that response!

Gorgeous chandelier!

More synchronicity at play - I took a picture of my "joy" letters yesterday and posted that as my blog header - lol! What a lovely way to get a response.

I love that Jannie and I created a little music...that song by Don McLean is gorgeous.

Ahhhhh, verboten pix are always the best. I have some from inside our Famous Christmas Store on one hard-drive or another. :)

It does NOT surprise me you would think about dusting that chandelier as every pic I've seen of your home shows it spotless! (A good thing!)

And yes, what a glorious cooincidence about Talon and my posts! I have yet to read hers, and am excited to do so, heading there now... Oh, and her new sidebar button is up, created that when I created yours the other day.

JOY and light are indeed afoot, wow!!

xoxo

Hmmm... what happened when you snapped the shot, to cause that "Yikes"? Beautiful chandelier, though. Maybe it was worth the risk. I have taken verboten pics in my day, and treasure them. ;)

That is so cool about Talon's and Jannie's titles!

I must use "approved with great joy!" in a sentence soon! That's a gorgeous chandelier. Remind me to tell you a story about a picture I was not supposed to take!

Love that chandelier Lynn; do you think you could coin a new word called...
"cybernicity?"
Def: synchronization of things on the internet.

The chandelier was
All shining and bright
If you take a picture
Keep it out of sight

Things common
Give me great joy
A approval from him
Did he with me toy

The two are one
This you did not say
they posted the same post
On the very same day

I didn't have an immediate thought of my third thing this morning and knew that was it when I saw that. :)

Lance -

I loved it, too.

Talon -

That is amazing! And I loved that you and Jannie created a little music, too. It couldn't have been planned to work out as well as it did, I think.

Jannie -

A joy and light-filled day indeed!

As I was snapping the picture, my niece and sister were hurriedly telling me pictures aren't allowed and about that time, an usher yelled at me from the portal. And then another marched up and down the aisles announcing the "no pictures" rule. I can't think what that is about when no one is onstage yet, but I'm all about rules and just happy to have left with my camera. :)

Riot Kitty -

Wasn't that lovely? I love it when people say how they feel like that.

lg -

Cybernicity - I like that!

Ellis -

Thank you for my poem! A great one. :)

I love how the ripple effect works. That little note "Approved with great JOY!" has made me very happy, even though the man who wrote it has no way of knowing that he was making me happy by writing it. And now I'll go on to smile at people all afternoon because of this total stranger. Awesome!

What a fantastic chandelier! And you took the photo in good faith, of course :) I love the response, how something so simple can brighten your day! I also love how you find joy in so many places.

What a beautiful chandelier! I love taking photos of forbidden objects. :)

"Approved with great joy!" I love it! I want that guy to send me positive text messages like that every morning! ;)

As for the happy accident, how cool is that??

Oh boy... as a cleaner, I sure hope I'm never called upon to clean something so intricate as a chandelier. Cobwebs are "in" this year! Yup, it's true! :P

Nice bit of synchronicity there. I look forward to the day I name a blog post "Bleak Endless Poppycock" and finding that five of my blogging buddies happened to do the same... well, I can dream! :P

Great title though. I did wonder where it came from. Now I know!

Love that song by Don McLean. A bit more poignant than "American Pie".

But I thought the title of that song was "Vincent"?

Did they take your camera and flog you?

I'll let George know that his words had that effect - I'm so glad.

Adrenalynn -

Thank you - you are so nice to say so!

Lulu -

I know - I felt as if I had gotten away with something. :)

And I thought it was cool, too.

Tony -

You crack me up with Bleak Endless Poppycock! We might just do that one day.

And I hope you wouldn't have to get on a ladder and clean something like that.

G -

I think you are right. I didn't remember that - I just googled Starry Night and it came up like the link I posted.

Mama Zen -

Almost! That was quite funny, and also funny to see the consternation of my niece. :)

Wow, looks like you got a priceless photo then! At least they didn't confiscate the camera...
