Reflection, fun mix and home for the holidays

- My client is nowhere to be found when I arrive for our appointment. I don't mind waiting though - it gives me a chance to sit in their yellow leather chair and admire the view of the Cirque du Soleil tents at Atlantic Station and the reflection of tall buildings in the glass of this one.

- Friend Barbara has given me a Christmas music CD that has various artists on it - a fun mix of Rihanna, Mariah Carey, Lady Gaga, Burl Ives and Bing Crosby. What? It's true.

- An excited email from my sister in Virginia about her son, daughters, son-in-law and granddaughter traveling to the Shenandoah Valley for Christmas. From Washington, DC, Portland, Oregon and New York City, they are making their way home.

It's nice when far-flung loved ones can get together at holiday time, yeah?

Ready for Christmas, Lynn? :-)

I'd love to hear some of that funky Christmas music; I could go from Bing to Gaga easily.

Nice view...and yay for big family gatherings, especially at this time of the year.

Enjoy the sights and sounds of the season, my friend!

Sometimes I like waiting. It gives one time to sit and think without interruptions or a feeling that one should be doing something else.

My sister loves Christmas. Loves it. So I imagine it is extra fun around there those few days. I am always invited, but can't really go there because it's too far from home. I like spending the holiday at the farm in north Florida, too.

Not ready so much. :)

The CD is called something like "Now that's what I call Christmas!"

I will and hope you will, too, chica!

I did sing! Thank you for my singing poem! :)

My client was worried that I had waited too long, so I fibbed and said I had just been there a couple of minutes. It was nice to sit and relax for a few. :)

They live in a beautiful area near Winchester, Virginia. A nice place for Christmas.

oh, how fun for your sister to have everyone home!

I love Chirstmas music. I just got a new one with lots of great oldies - the drifters, Solomon Burke, etc.

I love Christmas, but Lady Gaga?

I'm trying to think what Lady Gaga would sing on a Christmas CD! I'm glad you sing along - it's always fun (especially in the car!).

Family is coming home here, too, and it does a heart good. :)

Great pic! Looks like you were pretty far up in that location. Sounds like a fun music CD. I bet I've never heard some of those new ones- but the contrast does seem extreme!
I hope those folks from all over have safe travels n a great holiday!

It's great to hear of the music artists wanting to sing Christmas tunes. :)

Thank you and no, I'll be in north Florida with my other sister and her family and my mother. I have a standing invitation to the other house in VA for Christmas, but it is too far away and I have very little vacation.

Someone paged him and he came in looking so concerned that I had been there a long time - I fibbed and said "about 2 and 1/2 minutes." I didn't mind waiting really, especially for someone so nice as he.

Mama Zen -

Some song called "Christmas Tree" - it's actually kind of cute. :)

I'm so glad your family is all home with you. I know it will be a lovely time.

Yes - Lady Gaga sings a song called Christmas Tree. :)

I was on the 20th floor. I love to go there except for the parking is annoying. :)
