- I switched on the morning news yesterday as I was eating my oatmeal and caught this video just as the man comes into view to stand by the sign. Imagine my initial surprise and alarm. Turns out he was the special guest of "commuter dude" on WXIA-TV Channel 11 with his video gone viral. :)
- This recipe for Creamy Polenta with Mushroom Sauce has the delightful addition of a "Mind Refresher" at the end with the instruction to: "Stand straight, breathe normally, and reflect on patience while stirring the polenta."
- Spotting Mr C's Bar and Grille on facebook and this message: Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.

I have never made polenta but my sister does. I'll have to make sure she receives that added instruction.
So many people will love that quote. Actually I believe it should read "Wine is proof....."

I haven't actually made either one. I wish I had some time to stay home and cook. I actually just got home about an hour ago. And I need to go to bed since I have to get up early. Oh poor me. :)
I'll see the video in a few days. Never had polenta, or risotto. I live a guarded menu life... Mr C's found a way to put up funny signs online, I see!

I was delighted to find the Mr C's humor on facebook - their outside sign is so lackluster these days. I think the employee who did that must have moved on.
That was obviously set up! :D I could see and hear it coming! Good fun though.

True - I am not a morning person exactly and was a little bleary-eyed when I turned the news on. The film had the guy talking beside that sign - which I see in other places. Traffic monitored by aircraft - I've wondered about that. And then the explosion. Whaaat??? I was so pleased to see it was set up. :)
