Happy 67, life is good and Honey Bunny

- This old van with "Happy 67" painted on its side has been sitting in front of Mr C's for several days. It may be actually up for raffle or has been abandoned there. I hope someone wins it and drives it around - it's fun looking.

- Two little girls wearing festive pink dresses visit the printing company. One of them proudly shows off her sparkly red tap shoes. As they leave, she turns around and excitedly displays the lollypop her grandfather has given her.

- Calling niece Abby to get a recipe and saying, "Thanks, Honey Bunny!" to her before hanging up, which makes her giggle a little. She told me once that she likes it that she has her own pet name from me.

Ahhh, red tap shoes. Does life get any better? Well wait -- yes it does! Life has lollypops too. My favorite flavor is lemon. Then orange, then cherry.

Looks like a great van to camp in!

Jannie -

Hey - I was beginning to wonder where everyone was!

Isn't it lovely to see children excited about little things like that. Her look about the lollipop said, "Score!"

xo

Blue Bunny -

I have wondered where you are, too. It's good to be busy, no? Sweeping leaves - a good thing.

I saw a little girl yesterday with sparkly shoes that lit up. My friend said, "I'd so rock those if they had them in my size!" And she would. They would go well with her purple tutu ;)

Oh, how much are the tickets for the van? And I love it when people are about to hang up when they call me at work and forget it's a business call and they tell me they love me. :)

Funky little van, isn't it?

I remember wearing festive dresses as a kid (and hating it). These little girls sound happy and fun!

I give pet names to just about everybody. So cute that your niece enjoys hers so much. :)

PS - I give up on Words With Friends. The iPad (which is where I plan to play) is not allowing me to update it...tried to get me to accept the terms of service...but won't give me an "I accept" button anywhere. I will look into it when I have more time to play.

Free cars or vans are always a good deal- I could haul big stuff in there.
Cute kids always cheer me up -
Cute nick-name-

Riot Kitty -

She sounds colorful. :) I think they should make those light up shoes for adults and people would buy them.

Mr Cs is a neighborhood bar near my office - it has a somewhat seedy reputation, but I love the things they put on the sign sometimes. I think this was tongue in cheek because someone pulled the van up and left it there.

Always good to hear love words.

Pearl -

Hello and thanks for coming by. They certainly make my day.

Ya think? :)

I don't remember loving the foofy dresses either, but these two sure were cute in them.

No worries on Words With Friends. Just let me know if you ever get that going.

Snaggle -

They cheer me up, too.

I like pet names, too. I tend to give everyone I love a pet name, and a few people I don't love, lol.

That van reminds me of one a group of us took to NC to see snow. We almost froze to death.

I once had a pair of red shoes, but my dog ate them. I was so upset, but the dog was happy!

My kids have all sorts of nicknames. I never know which one will pop out. One of my favorites seems to be "tiger" I have no clue why?

This was a nice "3" Thanks for sharing it:~)

I would never buy a chance on that van for fear I might win it.

Is there a female alive who had not wanted to own a pair of sparkly red shoes? (And a few fellows have craved them too.)

My little girl (now 39) will always be Chelle Bellie.

And did she tell you what name she has for you? :-)

'Happy 67". Intriguing.

Same here. :) I'll bet you've got some doozies for some of you mail clients. :)

Betty -

Yes, they are. My dad had a pet name for me when I was a little girl that I didn't like. (Children can be so awful.) But I so loved it that he called me that when he was in and out of semi-consciousness.

Sara -

Red shoes are the bomb! I'll bet there's a great story in that van trip. And Tiger is an excellent nickname.

Granny Annie -

I love that name for your daughter - lovely. I'll bet she loves it, too. My mom calls me Lynsie Lou. :)

Anil P -

Yes - she calls me Aunt Lynnie.
