D is for Darth Vader in a Kilt on a Unicycle Playing Bagpipes, Doctor H and Divine

- This one needs no further explanation and is only 46 seconds.  :)

- When I pull into my parking space at home, neighbor Travis is taking an iPhone photo of his beaming sweetheart Jessica on the sidewalk.  "Do y'all want me to take your picture together?" I ask.  Travis (wearing scrubs and off to work) says, "No - I was just getting a photo of the new Dr. H___."  She defended her dissertation yesterday and is a new PhD.

- Finding something Divinely chocolate finally, when I went to my hometown for family business on Tuesday morning and popped into the best bakery in Georgia (I say) for a German Nut Bar.  OK - I had two.  A chewy bar with a bit of raspberry in the center and topped with chocolate icing.  Yummmm.

Day four of the Blogging from A to Z Challenge.  Three things that begin with "D" that gave me pleasure.   Happy Wednesday, y'all!

That video has got to be seen to be believed. How much did you pay him to do that?

Me, too - I watched a bit of The Empire Strikes Back the other night when I couldn't sleep. :)

Cloudia -

Great - I'm glad.

Youngman Brown -

I know, right??? :)

I wish I could take credit. This was one of those videos on YouTube that went viral and has had about a million hits. First spotted on facebook.

How amazing. I saw this very video on the blog before yours that I opened. And loved it both times. Thank you.

I read the bit about the iPhone picture taking neighbor aloud to my husband this morning. He said, "Wow, people really do get through it." D is a good letter. :)

Help me! I've fallen (from laughter) and can't get up!!!! Okay Lynn, that's you in the Darth Vader suit isn't it?

Dr. Jessica -- good "D".

Divinely chocolate...it's always going to come back to chocolate some way isn't it?

Joanne said...

You're making me crave chocolate after hearing about that bar!

Granny Annie said...

How did you do it? How did you the the request for follow-up comments back? Please let me know. WhooHoo!!

The Elephant's Child -

Well - I was trying to find a photo that suggested the letter D, but came up with this film instead. I'm thinking someone else had the same thought. :)

Good to see you!

happygirl -

She's been holed up in that condo below me working on that dissertation for months. They moved in last May and I never laid eyes on her until December! All total - I've seen her in person three times, so I guess there was lots of research going on.

Lynn -

I'm glad you liked it.

Granny Annie -

Nope! But I admire the energy behind it. :)

She was just beaming - loved that.

Yes - I think it always comes back to chocolate. :)

Joanne -

I'll bet there's lots of chocolate around you where you live.

Granny Annie -

I had nothing to do with that, but I'm glad it came back. Yee ha!

"a German Nut Bar..." Now, that sounds heavenly! I am 1/2 German so this interests me...

Lynn~
I saw a Dalmatian eating the divine bar...and although he was eating daintily, he dogged it over to the local deli for a dog--so apparently, he ate his dessert first.
Darn if he didn't!

P.S. Have a truly great day dear one!
(Don't you dare defy me on this, too.)

Darth Vader+kilt+unicycle+bagpipes=pretty much the most unusual combination I can imagine! Thanks for the laugh to start the day!

Whoa. You took on the A-Z challenge, like Hilary. These were great. The guy on unicycle, playing the bagpipes is priceless.

I love how you keep your Southern talk with "y'all" Congratulations to the new DOCTOR.

Divine chocolate is a rare and wonderful thing to find. I love chocolate and nuts. I don't know about the raspberry bit, but it did make my stomach growl.

Well, that is hard to beat! I'm trying to visit all the A-Z Challenge Blogs during April

Love all those D words! I aDore them! See - you should have done this challenge. :)

That bakery has been in existence since I can remember and they've always had those. So good.

Shelly -

I'm glad you got a good morning laugh.

Jannie -

If I could do that, I'd have no need for the job I have now. I'd just put out a tip jar and unicycle around in my kilt playing the bagpipes all day. :)

She looks happy, I'll say.
