Two chairs, tastes like summer and smells like spring

- Neighbor Beth scored these two chairs at a going out of business sale of a nearby neighborhood shop for her courtyard.  They look as if they are having a chat.

- My pre-walk breakfast from last Saturday morning was so pretty, I was inspired to snap a photo of it.  Strawberries and the first blueberries of the season that I can afford.  :)  All topped with just plain yogurt.  So good.  I popped one of the blueberries in my mouth after I washed them - pure sweetness.

- Me, my walking friends and one husband (also a friend) who joined us for the walk on Saturday, all had a group hug when we met up at the park.  It's been weeks since we could walk together (trips, graduations, weddings, life.)  The husband stopped at a honeysuckle vine for a sprig for his wife, presenting it to her, "Honeysuckle for my honey."  My other friend and I got sprigs, too.  It smells like spring to me and looks pretty on my kitchen windowsill.

Joanne -

I like to reserve my poached eggs and english muffin for after the walk - so this is like a pre-walk appetizer. :)

Elephant's Child -

The air is so fresh right now - I love walking in the morning the most.

Pamela -

It was perfect. :)

Naomi -

I know - yay! Yes - I love getting a whiff of that honeysuckle when I'm over by the windowsill.

I love the two chairs posed for a chat. Wonder what child will climb into them.

Had blueberry pie at the cafe last night. Yum!

Not a shred of honeysuckle on our property! How can that be. When I was a child we would pull the stem through and get that single drop of sweetness for a treat.

The honeysuckle is over here for the season now, it is magical, though!

I know what you mean about finally being able to afford the berry prices. No WAY was I paying almost $5 for a pint of blueberries. :) Got some here last week for $1.50, yay!

Yes, her spot is gorgeous, love the trellis.

And love Lynn too!

Every picture told a story!

Your breakfast did indeed look yummy. A mountain with white yogurt snow covering a burst of blue and red spring flowers!

It's got to be nice to all get together for a walk, especially right now. It's lovely where I'm at and I assume the same for you:~)

P.S. I have to ask you if I can ever borrow (with credit given) a photo from you for my Story Photo Challenges.

For example, I love the first and last picture. The chairs do look like they're having a chat and I love the last picture because of the two birds and the symmetry of the picture. Just let me know, okay? There's no rush.

Those chairs are perfect for an afternoon chat over chai tea and omg, I wouldn't mind having some of those fresh fruits and yogurt with my tea. Pretty pics.

I've been wanting some front porch chairs, but prices are so high on them lately. I love yogurt on other food too. I walked past the $4 blueberries until they were $2 this week also! Here the trees aren't all leafed out yet, no Honeysuckle until the end of June. Lucky you!

Granny Annie -

This neighbor doesn't have children around, but I admire her so much. She has a blind son, who is also autistic. He's a young adult now and lives with mother and father equally. He plays the bagpipes by ear! Awesome family.

We used to suck honeysuckle blossoms, too. Thank you for reminding me about that.

Jannie -

Hello Jannie Muffin! So glad to see you, my friend, and I love you, too. Yes - I like to buy US grown blueberries and pay at least under 3 dollars for a pint. Not always easy. :)

I'm not heavily into healthy food but that bowl of fruit for breakfast does look good!

Love the two chairs too, just waiting for two people to sit down and start chatting!
