Fresh and lovely, serenity and in residence

I often end up standing in this spot at my sister's home in northern Florida.  It's where my car is parked and I was getting into it last Saturday morning.  The morning was fresh and lovely - I couldn't resist.

We were heading to an event place in their sleepy little town for a bridal shower for niece Amanda.  I loved the serenity of the blue bottles in a window.

Great nephews were in residence for the weekend, too, as you can tell by the lone tricycle left standing.  I managed to capture a photo of my brother-in-law with the two little ones on the golf cart - you can see them there beyond the tree with BIL's dog Moby leading the way.  And a few minutes later, I was heading north home.

The trees with the Spanish moss and all that 'green' are so pretty!

The pictures on your post tell so many interesting stories. If you were in a writer's group, you could just show one of these at a time and ask the group to write a story around one. I am sure there would be just lots of wonderful stories pouring forth.

Thanks, Lee. It was just a perfect moment. My niece Amanda will have her wedding there in late March. I love it there.

It is all lovely. The lone tricycle brought tears to my eyes remembering when my children and grandchildren were little.

Hi Lynn - love the blue bottles in the window ... while the farm is just idyllic - and you're lucky your sister lives there and is happy when family come to stay ... but leaving - pity it's necessary - but it is!! You'll be travelling south again soon ... cheers Hilary

Love that first photo. Sure wish that I could 'steal' some of that weather, however! ;-)

What a pretty, green, spot. Lucky you are close enough to visit there. I always wanted a window like that to decorate. Always like blue, n purple! Looks like a fun joyride for the kids. Hope your week is going well.
