Ghostly, not too much and autumnal

- Neighbor Amanda and her six-year-old son delighted in creating this ghostly walkway up to their place.

- Studying the seasonal candy on sale at Rite Aid so intently that an employee asks if I need help. I tell her that I am taking it to the crew at work, but want to make sure it is candy I do not like too much myself. :)

- A lovely dinner with friends that concludes with a autumnal dessert of gingerbread cake and pumpkin ice cream. My treat for the day.

I hope your weekend is full of good things!

Mmm... pumpkin ice cream on gingerbread, that sounds delicious. And I hear you about the candy. That stuff is dangerous ;)

It was Edy's Pumpkin Ice Cream. The combo was so good. Lots of candy floating around today at work.

Amanda and her son did a fabulous job - wonderfully spooky!

I love the change of seasons because it brings in those seasonal flavors. I've never had pumpkin ice cream, but what a delicious sounding combo!

Confession time - I always buy candies I don't like to give away, but always buy a bag of my favorites to enjoy. Usually, though, we run out and I end up having to reluctantly part with my favs - lol!

Confession back. I couldn't resist buying a bag of Tootsie Roll Pops - love them! But only red and orange. So the purple and brown are fair game. :)

It is so fun with us little kids, all that Hallowe'en build-up and intrigue. And my daughter likes it too!

Pumpkin is full of vitamin A! And so is reddiwhip. :)

I hope my weekend is full of dessert like that!

It would be very dangerous to ask me to buy candy for anyone else because I'd eat it all myself and not give any to anyone else!

Have a good weekend!

Kandy is my frend, too!

Jannie -

There was Reddiwhip on it, too! How did you know????

Riot Kitty -

I hope there is good dessert for you, too. :)

Joe -

Not even to your kids? :) It was lots of fun with the candy today and I have to say, there was some nibbling back in my corner, too.

lol! I love the orange and the purple and always get rid of the brown and the red so we'd be partly okay sharing a bag!

This year my guilty pleasure is Reece's Peanut Butter cups - snack size. I'm going to have to do a lot of hiking and salsa dancing to wear those off! Hopefully, tons of kids show up and I'll be lucky to get one.

Decorating is the best part of Halloweenie, but I'm not doing it this year, as the new downstairs people have taken over the porch n hallway where I'd normally set up- my ghosties.

It may be rainy n windy anyhow- n I'll find a way to enjoy the evening.
I got stuff I like, n keep eating it!
Eddy's? Wish I had more food bux this week... Oh well. Can imagine that combo tho- almost time for pumpkin pie too...

Happy Candy Day!
(I've discovered MnM Minis this year...)

How funny! So we'd have to arm wrestle over the orange ones. lol
I do love the snack sized peanut butter cups - sounds like your house is the place to be on Halloween!

Snaggle -

Happy Candy Day to you, too! I had some of those mini m&ms yesterday at work. They were indeed good - I was on a sugar high all day. :)

What an awesome display they made! I am very pleasantly surprised with how creative people are getting with their Halloween decorations each year.

Have a great Halloween Lynn!
