Synchronicity, puffed sleeves and Ides of March

- The vintage train trestle that runs through Tanyard Creek Park. Just as I got to this spot on my walk, Florence and the Machine's "Dog Days are Over" came on my ipod, with the lyric, "Happiness, it hurt like a train on a track Coming towards her, stuck still no turning back..."

- A co-worker wears a Springy yellow blouse with puffed sleeves and says she is not certain that puffed sleeves are really "her." I think they remind me of the excitement Anne of Green Gables felt at receiving a pretty dress with puffed sleeves as a gift.

- Waking to rain and deciding that on this morning of the Ides of March the geraniums go back outside from the winter. Hope they are excited as I am to get them out of the house. :)

I like train trestles.

A yellow blouse with puffy sleeves sounds adventurous. :D Yes very Anne of Green Gables. :)

Lynn, I bet those geraniums have been dreaming all winter about being tickled by butterflies' and bees' feet. And will have lots of catching up to do with the squirrels!

I think I like that blouse. :)

I love synchronicity like the train track and the song track colliding :)

Lucky geraniums!

That one appeared to be loading up cars at the end. I was walking under when this huge banging sound came from above - I thought for a moment that the train was falling off.

I adore that book. Might be time for a re-read.

Jannie -

I like the thought of my plants being ticked by butterfly and bee feet. :)

She looked very springy yesterday. Me - I'm still trying to hang on to late winter clothes.

I hope they feel lucky - going from the warm house to being pelted by a spring rain today. But this just seemed like the day to do it. :)

I liked that synchronicity, too.

I'm not 100% sold on puffy sleeves myself, but since it's impossible to find any short-sleeved blouses with plain sleeves these days, I have accepted them.

This is bizarre - that literally looks just like a park near here.

I'd love to get out of the house, but it's pouring buckets.

I don't like to wear stuff like that, but you're right, hard to avoid. :)

It rained buckets here yesterday - I'm hoping for a nice day today so I can walk after work.

That's funny!

It was a great day. :)

Glad you're getting out for those walks- don't catch alot of trains lately here- cool coincidence, that song, I think. Haven't had puffed sleeves in ages either!
My poor, cold, geraniums look gone! No outside for a few more months here yet. We had snow showers n frost a day ago. Sleet n rain now-

It's always so bizarre to me, the difference in climates. I hope some warm weather comes your way soon.
