Delivery, made me laugh and birthday noms

- Personally delivering a small print job during afternoon rush hour and feeling a little beleaguered after the hour it took me to drive it to a woman's home in the outer 'burbs. But the look on her face when she saw her baby's birth announcements made it all worthwhile. She was delighted and he is a fine looking fellow, isn't he?

- A bumper sticker on the car in front of me reads, "I hope God isn't too picky." :)

- It's my sister's birthday and I am traveling to Thomasville, Georgia to celebrate with the family tonight. We are going to a place in which she says the salmon was so good last time, she told the waiter that she wanted to "lick her plate!" I hope they have that this time.

Have a lovely weekend, my friends!

I love restaurants so good you want to lick your plate. No quotes for me, I'm literal here. :) Babies, cute. And, I think God is a bit picky, He likes you to have faith in him and his son. :)

That is a very pretty newborn. Most are not that easy on the eye.

I am pretty certain that we all are hoping God isn't too picky.

Licking a dessert plate would tempt me but licking a salmon plate doesn't sound right. Now maybe if I were a cat...

Aw, the baby photo is adorable, of course. Isn't it amazing how someone else's happiness can make an hour of hassles worthwhile?

Um, salmon is indeed a wonderful tasty treat. All you need is butter, lemon, rice and a green bean side dish. And good for you. Fish eaters live longer.

Happy b-day to Sis, hope you hae a marvelous time and safe return.

xoxo

I enjoyed the birthday dinner at that restaurant - parmesan crusted group and creamy grits. Yum.

Granny Annie -

He is a pretty baby - he was sleeping when I got there. I hated that I rang the doorbell, but she says he is a heavy sleeper. Good for her. :)

Sage -

I certainly will. Good Sabbath!

Mama Zen -

The bumper sticker cracked me up - it says so much. :)

I'll make about .30 commission from that print job, but it's all good. And that's the part of my job I like the most - making people happy.

And none of us ended up having it!

The designer of these announcements is one of my favorite clients - she does such lovely things.

Sparkling Red -

Yes - absolutely.
