- Yeah, it is!- Washing some North Carolina blueberries for my cereal and popping a juicy looking one in my mouth. It is so sweet. And I vow to find more to freeze for the coming winter.
- A line of mallard ducks crosses Bobby Jones golf course, interrupting play. Golfers stand bemused beside their carts as they watch the 12 ducks walk in single file across the course.

Blueberries, ducks, and cooler weather - three of my favourite things! I have also bought some deliciously sweet plums this past week. Mmmm...
I love hearing the stories about the animals that interrupt my partner and daughter's game of golf. Wild boars, ducks, rabbits etc etc.
I can't wait until fall is in the air here, as it's supposed to be in the 90s until Monday. And yes, predictably, now I want blueberries.

Hope fall cools the air down for you southerners soon. I had blueberries thaw in the freezer power out that I made cobbler with- Would be a crime to waste those! Ducks are really good at Follow the Leader! n not shy either! O wonder if they think the golf balls are eggs...
