Pete the cat, orange nails and networking

- Pete the cat. Last weekend he was finally banished to the back porch by my sister, who considered him a little too frisky for inside that day. It looks as if he decided to spend his time wisely, by doing a bit of grooming. (Photo a little fuzzy because it was taken through glass.)

- Meeting a potential client for lunch and having a delightful conversation with her. Her nails are painted a vivid orange, which seems curious to me, but I don't ask. Just before parting, she shares that she is going to a place this weekend that takes their football seriously - Auburn University. The Auburn Tigers will play Utah State on Saturday and Auburn fans will be all done up in orange.

- A head clearing late afternoon walk in the park near my office and then talking to friend Jerry on my drive home (using hands free device). We share networking tips before hanging up. Dinner and couch were calling. :)

Pete may have been banished, but he still looks happy. :-)

I hope that your client's team wins!

Cats are so arrogant when they groom themselves.

Summer,Fall, Winter, Spring, one shade of nail polish for me. I have to seek it out as it is discontinued in one brand so I attempt to match it in another. I don't know what that is about but is has to be.

Glad to clarified that you were talking over hands free device. Was that so you could text at the same time? LOL

He kept mortifying my sister by jumping up on the kitchen counter. I just thought it was funny. :)

There will definitely be a sea of orange there. :)

Granny Annie -

I have unpainted nails, but like to have a fun color on my toes. This week it's lavender.

And I knew someone would say I shouldn't be driving and using my cellphone, but you can do that in Georgia. They have banned texting though (as they should.) :)

Now I want a mani/pedi. Couch, tv, all sounds good to me.

"Dinner and couch were calling." I hear you there, Lynn. I hope that your day is peachy, girl! (For me, it's the U.S. Open and the front porch calling; especially whilst the weather is nice!!!)
:-)

So would your potential new client just be having the orange nails, or more?

Glad to hear you were chatting on a hands free device. ;)

Go get that mani/pedi - I do love a pedicure. My nail tech is so sweet and doesn't talk - I kind of like that because I talk all day.

I'm heading to NC this weekend - so I hope to experience some of that good porch weather. :) Enjoy the Open!

Pete is so funny. He gets banished routinely for being annoying. He was out there when I got up Sunday morning and was tapping on the window for me to let him in, but I knew better. He must have been dancing on my sister's head when she was trying to sleep.

Tracy Jo -

I'm glad you found it, too. I'll check yours out.

Riot Kitty -

Oh my - I needed it, too. :)

Huh?

Anyway - yes, I prefer using the hands free device anyway.

Oh I loved sharing your day, and the 'stuff' of your life.

Sweet. Thanks! Loved the kitty wisely using his banishment :)

Now THAT's a football fan!

Kelly wants to go to a high school football game here. And I'm up for it. Can you believe I've NEVER been to a fb game? Yep!

Canadian, eh? Ice hockey gal.

A football game on a fall evening? You can't beat that! I know you girls will have fun. Make sure you have a hot dog. That's the only time I eat them. :)
