Sunny road, on the road and other women's lives

- Someone painted a landscape on the side of this building in Lilburn, Georgia (click to enlarge.)  I like how the painting migrates around the corner a little and what I imagine I might see if I go through that tunnel.

- A blessedly lighter commute.  It is Spring Break for the public schools in my county next week, and there were fewer cars this morning on the commute.  People are already leaving town, it seems.  Works for me.  :)

- Yesterday in the nail salon:  two women who haven't seen each other in years, marvel how the time has passed.  "Doesn't it seem just yesterday that our children were little?"  Now they both have grown children and are dealing with matters brought on by having had many birthdays.  It was lovely relaxing and having a pedicure and listening to the details of other women's lives.

This is my 1350th post.  How about that?  Have a great weekend, everyone!

Wow that's an impressive amount of posts, well done!!

I like the landscape painted on the side of the building.

It's Easter holidays here in the UK too. Both my daughters are off school for a couple of weeks.

Hi Lynn .. I know it does make driving around so much easier doesn't it ... but the shops are fuller - perhaps that's a good thing.

I love the art work too .. cheers Hilary

Wow, Lynn! Doesn't the time fly? And think of all those good things you've shared with the world. That's amazing!

And I love the trompe l'oeil.

G'day Lynn...trying to go through that tunnel would certainly be a good example of "banging one's head against a brick wall"!!

That's a lot of posts! I started blogging back in 2006, but I've not reached that number, I'm sure!

Well done! :)

A colourful mural can totally change the look of a whole street. There are quite a few in Toronto that I regularly enjoy. The one you photographed is particularly nice.

Congratulations on your 1350th post!

Glad your imagination takes you through such tunnels too.

The people leaving town are coming here. The sounds and music coming from the lake this past week have been loud and joyful. My granddaughter was here for the weekend and wanted to go to the parties. She didn't seem to think knowing anyone or having an invitation would be relevant.

Time does fly by. :) Thanks for being there with me.

Elephant's Child -
