Blooms and a bee, superstar and project fund

- The leaves are changing here in the south, but we still have blooming flowers and plants, too.  Here a bee takes advantage of the nectar in this beauty that belongs to my neighbor.

- A favorite printing client tells me we have made her look like a superstar by getting her organization's brochure printed so quickly.  I tell her she's a superstar anyway.

- An unexpected check comes in the mail - I have over paid on property taxes.  It will go in the bookcase building project fund.

Three wonderful things. Good things really do happen in threes (somedays).

I love that flowers are still blooming near you! The best of both seasons.

I used to love my printer when they did a great job and it made me look great too. On the other hand when things went wrong, I was less pleased. :D

One can never have too many bookcases (or at least I can't)! Unexpected cash is always nice.

I am curious about the bookcase. What are you interested in building?

The Elephant's Child -

They happen for me everyday - I just have to look for them.

Joanne -

Absolutely, my friend. It's so good to have you back - I've been thinking about you.

Mama Zen -

I'm so lucky to have a neighbor who plants so many glorious flowers every year.

That doesn't happen often where I work, but if things go wrong, we make it right.

G -

It brightened mine!

Well - the flip side is that the condo property has suddenly depreciated because of a number of foreclosures + people walking away from their places. People are buying them now for less than the amount I owe on my mortgage. Sigh.

I'm so excited and there will be cabinets at the bottom for CD and photo album storage. :)

Riot Kitty -

I am using a bit of inheritance money for small home improvements. This one is a longtime dream - replacing the bookshelves I have now with something nicer. My friend Ron is building the bookcase for me - it will have cabinets on the bottom and bookshelves all the way to the ceiling. :)

Ah, that's the beauty of the south, we can have our leaves and flowers too! When we lived in Birmingham, I was fascinated by the fact that pansies grew all winter long. How fun is that!

Betty -

Big hugs to you!

Leonora -

I'm the only one I know who can let pansies die in the winter somehow. Maybe I'll try again this year. :)
