View from the bridge, all loaded up and calling my name

- It seemed way more beautiful at the time.  :)  Sitting on the 14th Street bridge in Midtown Atlanta last evening at about 7pm.  Amazing that the rush hour is still going on at that hour, but all those cars traveling on I-75 85 south sure got to see a beautiful sunset.

- Love this image from niece Amanda of her car packed up for a girls' weekend in Charleston, SC.

- This is the view I'll be waking up to tomorrow morning - a spur of the moment road trip to North Carolina. The river is calling my name...

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and that good things happen to you!

Lynn! Hope that you R well! I have been 'swamped' with family issues; helping children and the like.

Now that does look like "the girl's" weekend packing job. I love the colors/print of the fancy girl's luggage especially!

Welcome to N.C. Hope to get back to blogging, soon. Karen

Love the shot of the car. Looks like mine when it's full of all my gear. Just make sure she's careful when she reverses!

Have a lovely weekend by the river. :)

That looks like a trunk full of fun. You have a good weekend, too. Enjoy that view. :)

Such a trunk with suitcases can only be coming from a girls group.

Greetings,
Filip

That is a gorgeous sunset shot, I can tell how splenderiferous it was, and you share it very nicely.

LOVE the car packing shot. Sounds like a good weekend in store for her. And YOU.

Happy safe travels.

It was a gorgeous sunset - and they are always better when you are there in person. The girls weekend away filled me with horror. I pack very, very lightly (though not as lightly as the smaller portion).
That river view would be worth going back to again and again. Truly beautiful - have a wonderful weekend.

The ryr always sees more definition of color than cameras when looking into the light source. It is pretty anyway-At least you had a free shoe while held captive...
Cute car-packed pic. i hope she has everything! So colorful-
Enjoy that peaceful River place, n have a great week-end!

Rivers are always calling my name... I was on one yesterday!

Isn't it frustrating when your camera can't capture the beauty of what you're seeing? My camera phone is pretty good, except when it comes to the colour yellow. It washes out the most brilliant, vivid yellows so that I can't get a good photo of the wildflowers on my walk to work.

Apparently that was just one carload. :)

The Elephant's Child -

Not a bad photo considering it came from my phone.

FB -

I hate that it happened during Chipper's final game. I think that call was right though - from what I've read.

Riot Kitty -

I can only imagine the hair drying, etc. during that trip. Lots of bar photos posted on facebook.

Joanne -

I did have fun. Tired this a.m. though.

Snaggle -

I like to look for beauty wherever I find it - sometimes it's hard though.

Sage -

I see you have a river post - I'll be around later. Off to work in a bit.

Sparkling Red -

We do what we can, right? I do find it handy to have the camera phone.

Betty -

Big hugs to you!

I love it there so much - I suppose the next time will be in the spring. Sister is about to go up and close it for the winter.
