Beautiful day, proposal and more chatting time

- A quick trip on Friday night to see my sister and brother-in-law with two of my friends.  On Saturday, they wanted to see Thomasville, Georgia, with it's bustling downtown area.  Sister and I were sitting on a bench waiting for them outside this kitchen shop here.  A beautiful day.

- Scarecrow competitions must be the big thing this year.  This one was on his knee proposing marriage to anyone who walked by.  Click to enlarge.

- All three of these photos were taken while my sis and I sat on sidewalk benches waiting for the browsing friends (we both tend to breeze through shops and move on - it's all good, either way.)  It gave us more chatting time and she never questioned why I pulled my camera out for random photos.  None of these three photos were altered at all - the beautiful sunlight tells the story of the day.

Someday I want to take an excursion with you.

Is the scarecrow holding out a ring or should I saw "was" he?

I love the Scarecrow. Very cute! And the lighting in your shots is beautiful. Truly sun-dappled shade. :)

I love the wagon full of flowers! That's a beautiful shot.

Aw, if I were single I would marry the scarecrow. ;-)

Beautiful shots. I went shopping with some friends in the States and found we weren't very compatible as shopping buddies really.

My daughters always guess that I'm taking photos for my blog! :D

I know - quite a handsome fellow, that one.

My sister doesn't know I have a blog. :) I like it that way - I'd feel self conscious if I knew she or my other sis were reading.

Riot Kitty -

It was a gorgeous day.

The annual Scarecrow Festival was held here a couple of weekends ago...scarecrows everywhere!

Nice to sit n wait while others browse- I miss unhurried shopping trips. Scarecrows are all over for Halloween this year- I have a good 15 pics from the village of them. Maybe next year I'll get to the processing. But may post the funnier ones sooner. I bet scarecrow hubbies aren't very demanding with their laundry n coffee n such! They don't argue either!
nice wagon planter- the plants here are freezing a bit.

I'll bet that was great fun!

I don't like to hurry when shopping, but I don't shop that often either. The next time is probably the day after Thanksgiving.
