- Buying flowers for myself on a Tuesday.
- Loving this sign from my late mother's assisted living home in Thomasville, Georgia (this is from their facebook page.) And I say, "Amen to that!" I love pouring over the photos they post and spotting friends.
- And this, from niece Amanda (a kindred spirit in many ways), cracked me up!

Yay for flowers! It's amazing how uplifting they can be. And that last meme is hysterical.
Beautiful flower arrangement Lynn!
Very pretty flowers. You seem like you like to iron a lot. Me too. I cannot wear wrinkly clothes even when tumble dried. LOL

I see you have flowers today, too!

I think so, too - from Whole Foods.

I don't like to iron, but will do it. I just thought this was funny. :)
Laughed out loud at the 3rd one! I am minus an ironing board cover these days. TG I don't iron. :)
And I am eating lasagne! Stouffers, the same stuff we served at our wedding!

I never iron anything these days. The new ironing board cover I bought a century ago remains still in its original packaging...not on the the board.
I never by anything that requires ironing...I've grown smarter in that department as I've grown older, at least!
Take good care, Lynn. :)
Love the flowers. And the ironing card cracked me up. Not one of my preferred domestic duties.
Lovely roses- Always irresistible- Fun sign- you must miss visiting her friends also. How ironic, n way more fun that actual ironing!
I love the "iron in irony" cartoon!~
And the flowers are lovely. I'm constantly worried that my cats will eat them, so we only have dried lavender at the moment. I used to have a cat who ate that, too!
So true - different is definitely a beautiful thing. :) And laughing at the iron-y. ;)
Flowers are always a good thing!
Well, you got me laughing with the ironing board note:~)
I like the sign at the assisted living facility. It's nice that keep up with their FB page.
I love flowers in the house. Unfortunately, I don't have any today. But yours made me smile:~)
Ha ha I love that last image, I've never seen it before but it cracked me up too! :D
The sign is cute.
I must try to remember to start buying flowers for myself.
It had not occurred to me to link to my mom's nursing home facebook page. I'm not even sure if they have one. But it would be nice to see if some of her old friends are still there.
My whole family would crack up over the irony quote. We're just that way.

Me either - or maybe once a year.
That lasagna sounds good to me!

I always think of your beautiful flowers in your garden. It must be wonderful surrounded by such beauty.
Snaggle -
I do - I went by there a few months after mom died and one of her dinner table mates didn't remember me at first - sad.
Riot Kitty -
Someone sent me a beautiful "Hollywood" looking arrangement once and I had to put it in the bathroom with the door closed, because my cat wouldn't leave it alone.

Love the irony!

And especially good if you have no photo for your blog. :)

I am glad I could make you smile!

I like that, too.
Granny Annie -
Buy yourself flowers - they don't cost that much for all the pleasure they give.
Yes - I miss my other ladies there, but am not spotting as many as I used to. Sad.
