"Kyrie" from Memorial by René Clausen - GFU Concert Choir Spring Concert...

Thinking of the people of Orlando this morning and their resilient spirit after the heartbreaking events of the weekend.  I ran across this peaceful piece of music this morning while looking for something else.  It's so peaceful, I just have to share it.  Hugs!

Thank you.
I so hope that some day (soon) we will be able to put the hating away.

Hi Lynn - how gorgeous and as you say peaceful. If only we could live in a peaceful, calm, truthful world ... lovely tribute - and thanks for sharing with us - Hilary

Cloudia -

Without question.

Elephant's Child -

Me, too! I am just heartsick over it.

Debra -

Thank you - I was going to post about flag day and was going to post a series of flags - including the one in the Smithsonian that hung over the hole in the Pentagon on 9/11 - and found this video I had posted in 2011, ten years after. Very soothing and comforting, I think.

Hilary -

Thank you. All we can do is to be peaceful, calm, and truthful ourselves, I guess. It's what we do.

Haddock -

Without question.

So beautiful... There is still beauty in the world, even in the face of such horrific evil. When confronted with evil (and even in day to day life), we stand united, no matter our race, religion, or sexual orientation.

Masked by the fact this happened in a gay bar we seem to lose sight of the fact that this was an attack on Americans on U.S. soil representing ALL Americans. Thanks Lynn for the thoughtful Memorial hymn.

All the decent people in this world of ours are in mourning along with those who have lost loved ones. A tragedy...heartbreaking.

It should never have happened! I'll say no more...but I'm sure you know what I'm thinking!

Tragic news.

The music is very peaceful. Why did I think it was called "Kylie"? ;)
