- This back porch angel eternally catching the rays.
- A repairman named Handy Andy arriving 15 minutes after he's called. Now that's being handy.
- A quick back porch picnic of cold vegetable couscous salad, hummus and a Madress. Thank you to Snaggle Tooth for the name of my cranberry concoction! :)

Is that little angel okay? Hope he (or she,) is praying and not crying?
I've actually gone radical and today started substituting my big beer with an afternoon decaf. Bought a can of it. It's part of my plan to drop just a few pounds. Can't hurt!

Probably just mulling the state of the world. Or maybe just aghast at the state of my porch!
You look so good now! But I respectfully support your dieting efforts. :)
The angel is in such a sweet and touching pose. I suppose she could be many things, depending on mood...bashful, horrified, upset...
Now that's a true Handy Andy!
Lunch sounded delicious!

I got the angel at a place that sells "stuff" they say is found all over the world on their travels - and much of it one of a kind pieces to the place. They said she was used on a photo shoot somewhere, but I thought she just had to come home with me, and is now a much-loved addition to my angel collection. She is sitting on bricks from my grandparent's backyard that I rescued as we were walking away for the last time to turn the home and property over to the new owner.
Nah, the angel is just in a perpetual snooze. :-]
Having someone show up that quickly in this day and age, is someone you want to have on your speed dial.

I had to make a quick mid-week trip back up to my sister's mountain house, because I left something I needed there. More on that Monday.
When I walked into the half-bathroom the floor was full of water - turned out the toliet was leaking from the valve area.
So this is small mountain community for you - sis called Handy Andy and he was right over. Very courteous, cut off the water to that toliet, brought in his shop vac to get the rest of the water up and promised a return trip in the morning with a part needed to repair it.
Good thing I went up there - no one would have been back until August sometime.
I think Little Angel looks down in the dumps, or snoozin in the rays- would like to get one for a deck-dec myself!
N a repair guy that comes right over should be given a medal!
You are quite welcome! hmmm, maybe cupie pie cherub is hung-over?!

LOL. Let's hope not. No telling what goes on when I'm not here. :)
