Sunflowers, the boys and field

- More from the weekend, a local artist displays her paintings of flowers and the real thing. The sunflowers liven up the bunch.

- Bluegrass musicians, the Rye Holler Boys, work the crowd. Love that name and they livened up the festival with their singing.

- Down from the mountain, this field of Silver Queen corn that seems to go on forever, waiting for the coming rain.

I'm not sure which is more beautiful - her artwork or Mother Nature's!

Great photos, Lynn. That field does look endless!

That cornfield photo came out a little dark because of the impending storm, but I liked it anyway.

Mama Zen -

I love bluegrass, too! These guys are teenagers - I was impressed by that. http://www.ryehollerboys.com/

I'm not familiar with progressive bluegrass - I'll have to check that out! That is great that you can play two instruments.

Wow - that is great. Playing music must come easily to you. I wanted to play the flute, but couldn't get it - back in the day. :)
