Fuzzy photo taken with camera phone- This artwork at the entrance to the Georgia Association of Educators. The squares are A-Z, but the E and Z are missing. I particularly liked "G" and "L". "G" is in braille and "L" is a hand demonstrating that letter in American Sign Language.
- The train whistle at the Lawrenceville Highway crossing during the very early morning hours suggests that someone else is already at work.
- Sitting behind a mother and her wee son in their car at a traffic light, both of their heads bobbing to the music.

Really neat alphabet - even with the missing letters.
There's something about a train whistle that always makes me melancholy...and though we have plenty of trains passing through, that feeling never changes...

Talon - I feel the same way about train whistles. The funny thing about that one is that I am so accustomed to it I don't hear it anymore really. But lying in bed when everything is perfectly quiet, the train whistle stands out more.
They were cute this morning - I thought they must be listening to something they really like and have already bonded over.
Maybe the 2 letters are missing because it was so E Z to steal them?

Ah, the call of the loon - one of the most haunting sounds of all...
I think someone must have thought it was fun to take the E and Z - y'all are right - probably for that reason! Too EZ. LOL.

Love the image of the mother and son moving to the music. Sometimes, I look in other cars, trying to make some connection, and people are just staring ahead.

Jewel - I know what you mean. I also like to smile at people in the grocery store, etc. so they'll smile back. Some will and some won't.
