The Jetsons called, they want their house back.
- A happy accident - finding this futuristic house on Northside Drive in Atlanta after taking a wrong turn. I can just imagine George, Jane his wife, daugher Judy and his boy Elroy inside.
- Stopping by Caribou Coffee for a morning treat of a latte and blackberry / white chocolate scone. Strangely good flavor combination on the scone.
- Receiving a birth announcement for a baby girl with a big name, Penelope. But she will be called Penny and her last name rhymes with Lane, so you know what our song will be.

What a find! That's exactly the sort of house the Jetson's would live in. Is that Astro in the yard?
Chocolate and fruit? Is there ever a bad combination? :)
I'll be humming Penny Lane all day (which isn't a bad thing!).

I had to find a place to pull off the road and walk back. That might just be Astro, and Rosie's car is probably the one in the driveway. :)
Ooh - it had big chunks of white chocolate. Divine!
A good song to sing all day, for sure!
A big welcome to Penny...into this world we live in!
That house looks really futuristic (I like it!!)
A stop at the coffee shop is always good!
Have a great weekend Lynn!
Thanks for stopping by Lance. I love that the picture they sent of Penny shows her exercising her lungs (big time.) She announces her presence with alacrity!
You have a great weekend, too!
Cool place! The Jetsons does immediately come to mind- wonder who the architect is? Must've cost a fortune too-
Hope you can find your way back there to ask questions!
What a weird house!
Wow talk about a wonderful find on a wrong turn. Cool!

Snaggle, Mama Zen, Jannie and Arca -
I tried Googling with key words: Jetsons futuristic Northside Drive house and only found other mentions of it on other blogs. Rats - I would like to know what inspired it.
Jannie -
I just thought about you - just had a warm apple fritter. Love the pastries, too. YUM.
Definitely odd.
Althouhg it wouldn't be out of place here in Connecticut.
Hey G -
I wonder how many knocks on the door that family gets with questions about the house. Still hoping to find out about it one day.
