Return, sign and wee

- I was beginning to wonder!

- Is this some sort of sign? Buying plain M&Ms out of the vending machine at work only to have them hang up. One of the guys in the back shakes the machine for me and they fall down. He says seriously, "Those 60 cent ones tend to hang up." And then it happened again the next day. Hmmm.

- Having the plant manager's wee granddaughter in the building with him for the afternoon was like having a delicate butterfly around. He blew bubbles for her in his office and she shrieked with delight while trying to catch them.

Blowing bubbles at work - how cool is that!!!

Hi Lance!

A delightful moment. I was in his office talking about a printing project. She was very shy at first, but eventually brought me a couple of her little dolls to hold. Then the bubble blowing brought out her energy.

You can get 60 cent candy out of the vending machine? Wow! Not here you can't!

Love your description of the PM's granddaughter. Some children are like whirling dervishes and some are definitely "delicate butterflies". Sweet!

Talon -

We love it when children come in. It's very family friendly here and during the summer children and grandchildren are often around.

Those vending machines always make me nervous. Will I get my item? Will I not? Could send me to blood pressure meds for sure!

Jannie -

And like anyone cares if I get candy or not, I always feel so conspicuous when the guys have to shake the machine like that. It's a sign that I should just be having yogurt and fruit. :)

Hi Mark -

Hmmm - what? Thanks for stopping by. I did have a quick look at your blog. Lots of thought provoking writing.

Little childrens visiting the office.

I think it's great. Sometimes whenever we get little ones who are just old enough to be mobile, they have a tendency to wander around. Invariably, they stop at my cube and see all the nifty stuffed animals there, and usually they'll walk in wanting to touch and hold them. I always oblige on the touching part. It's great to see their eyes light up.

G -

So post about your stuffed animals sometime. That sounds like a fun collection.

Another grandchild was in for a while yesterday. I just took a photo of his artwork for tomorrow.

I might.

I alread got 40% of August already done and scheduled.

Gotta think of something special for my 300th that'll be coming up in mid August.

That would be a good choice, I think. :)
