Whisper, relaxing and peace

- The whisper of the river. Back to sit beside the Hiawassee River with my sister after way too much time away.

- The Festival on the Square making for a lovely, relaxing Saturday afternoon. Using stories and songs, Nashville songwriter Tim Bays entertains.

- The back porch, aka almost paradise. And having a discussion about the ability to summon up the river sound in our heads when we need a moment of peace.

I love those familiar, much-loved places that don't change during our time away and still have the same charm and beauty as our memories.

Sounds like you had a fabulous weekend, Lynn.

It was fabulous and all too quickly over. My sister needed to attend the homeowners meeting for the little river community on Friday evening and so we went to a lovely potluck, looooooooog meeting and finally to the river. I love it there...

The river looks so much like ours here.

How would you complete the following potential line of lyric based on your recent experience...

I'm going down to the river for to...

It is a good place to forget about your troubles.

Don't you love the river? And if I had to complete the lyric it would be, "I'm going down to the river for to ease my mind."
