Peaches, no big deal and good eats

- The peaches are in and probably will probably be eaten before making it into cobbler. :)

- A very nice man inspects the ding on my car and makes me feel as if it will be no big deal to fix.

- Catching up with friend Leisa at the neighborhood taqueria, over enchiladas con vegetales, guacamole and Coronas. Yum.

Peaches - so scrumptious! I'm always jealous you're enjoying peaches and it's spring. Ours won't be out for weeks and weeks yet. :(

I hope the man's sentiments on the repairs extend to the bill portion ;)

Yum to the whole post, Lynn. :) Peach season is so wonderful; isn't it? You'll still have plenty of time for cobbler. I indulged in a peach milkshake yesterday, and tonight I'll prep peaches and cream to sit overnight in the fridge. Peaches and cream for breakfast is the best!

Good luck with your repair. "No bid deal" is good to hear from a mechanic's lips.

So glad to be back among your regular readers after a short hiatus!

I do love peaches. Especially with vanilla ice cream.

Well....seems pricey to me. I'm thinking I'll live with the dent for a while.

What makes peaches and cream better when it sits overnight? I haven't heard of this, but am certainly willing to try it. :)

The Chick-fil-a peach milkshake? So good.

I know - I've missed you. Welcome back!

I think more often than not. :)

Oh, I long for a homemade (not by me!) peach cobbler!

I would love to catch up with a friend in a taqueria. I need to find a good Mexican restaurant.

Love those peaches! Yummmmm!

PS - This post reminded me of my gratitude journal. I wrote at least four things every day for one year that I was thankful for. It would make an interesting blog...to just write about the good things, wouldn't it?

Happy Wednesday!!! :)

Again, you make me hungry! Now I want peaches! Like that bizarre song says, "Millions of peaches!"

Mama Zen -

I know! Always better made by someone else. :)

Happy Wednesday to you, too! That is what this blog is about - good things that happen every day. Not my idea originally though - it came from Clare Grant in the UK and her Three Beautiful Things blog. She encouraged others to try writing a 3BT blog and I took up the challenge, just using it as a journal of sorts for almost two years, when Jannie started coming by. I have gained a number of much loved readers since then. I'm glad you come by sometimes - I know how busy you are with that hockey traveling! And I always enjoy your musings about Miami.

I don't know that song, but if it is bizarre then I want to hear it. :)

Mmmm fresh peaches! Haven't had any right off the tree in many years. An old neighbor had a tree, those were the best!
Maybe the "Pops-a-dent" will fix you right up-
Amazing you can find so many interesting Veggie meals around town- Never heard of those

The brothers at Taqueria Los Hermanos have four locations now in Atlanta - they make Mexican food in the style of the area on the Baja coast of Mexico. Lots of fresh vegetables, fish tacos, Tres Leche cake. Wonderful food.

I hit a parked car - I can't believe it happened. The man was nice about it though. It is costing many $$$ and my car got the worst of it.
