Welcome back, postcard from the edge and poem

- Loving 8:52am on Saturday morning when this photo was taken, the sun just beginning to dapple the back porch. And isn't it like a little miracle that Hostas come back like this?

- Playing hooky from the church grounds clean-up day and feeling only a little guilty about it. My excuse being that the pollen intake would finally send me over the edge.

- Looking at all the budding trees and flowers peeking out of the ground makes me remember a little poem by mother used to say when we were kids: "Spring has sprung, the grass has ris, I wonder where the flowers is?"

I liked your blog so much that I linked to it for my blog list. I got the cherub from someone who travels the world looking for objects to sell at his place in Decatur, Georgia. He was one of a kind at this shop, but I have seen it in a Visa commercial.

I love Spring, too! Thanks for visiting!

I think you were smart not to agravate your allergies, they can be very debilitating.

I suffer so much from pollen that I have a link to the Atlanta Allergy and Asthma Clinic at the lower right of my blog. Friday the count was 1074. (This is the amount of pollen particles measured within the last 24 hours in a cubic meter of air.) Any count above 121 is considered extremely high and we haven't even peaked yet! It's probably the same where you are, right?

Yes, we in Austin are in an area Kelly's pediatrician refres to as the "Mold Bowl." Quite! I used to be dreadfuly affected ezpecially by the mountain cedar, but I'm not sure how I'm escaping it the past few years? Hmmmn. maybe the more you sing and play guitar, the less you get allergies?

:)

Wish I was musical! I like to sing, but I usually just do that in private. :)
