Sunrise, no complaints and priceless

Sunset over Razor lake by ALM

- My niece works on this property in northern Florida and is privy to this view all the time. I tell her how lucky she is (except for that working cows thing, which she doesn't mind.) :)

- Such a comparison with the concrete and asphalt I am surrounded by, but no complaints here. I love my section of northwest Atlanta and especially clients like loyal Matt, who tells me yesterday how much he likes working with us on his projects.

- Catching the end of America's Got Talent, a guilty pleasure. No spoiler here, but I think the right person won and the look of excitement on the winner's face was priceless.

Cows she might like
and the sun sets to.
But hard ground around
is the life for you
So America’s got talent
and no spoilers to see
I could not find the win
so it’ll be a surprise for me

What a view!

I didn't watch AGT this season, but judging from all the comments I've read about it - perhaps I should have!

I like both kinds of scenery. The countryside and the concrete. They both have a beauty about them.

I avoid all talent shows. :D

The intensity of that sunset and the gorgeous reflection are stunning! Sunsets over city or country always make me melancholy...

Ellis -

You could set that poem to the Green Acres theme song music and it would work perfectly! I just tried it. :)

Thank you for my poem!

Isn't it?

This is the first year I'm watched the whole thing (for the most part) and I liked it. I think Nick Cannon and Howie Mandell made it so much fun.

Joe -

I completely agree. And I wouldn't want talent show entertainment all the time, but it was nice summertime fun.

Images like that seem so much more intense in the country. The stars shine more brightly and the air seems sweeter.

I live in S. Florida and one thing I love about our state is the sunsets. That photo is beautiful!

Oh, that picture! Sheer perfection!

I am a city girl but I enjoy the outdoors once in a while (driving thru...lol). I love sunsets and those are quite a spectacle here in Miami.

Your niece is in my area of the Florida. There are still lots of farm land in this area.

I used to go on a cattle round up at my Grandfather's cattle ranch. It was fun, but exhausting:~)

Don't you love people who remember to say thank you and let you know how much they appreciate your service? Matt sounds like a keeper:~)

I'll have to check out who won in America's Got Talent. I once watched a German program, which was like AGT.

They had these men sing a song about parenting or something (I don't speak German), but they used these dolls and, even though I don't speak the language...it was so funny:~)

I imagine they would be beautiful down there, too.

Mama Zen -

I know - it so is.

Holland -

Yeah - I'm a converted city girl, via the country. I love both.

Sara -

That show sounds so funny! And yes - we knock ourselves out for customers, so it is lovely to hear a compliment like that.

I sent you a message at your blog - I'm curious if you live in the same county.

Red sky at night, sailors delight!

Great photo - the cow thing would bother me!

Beautiful Sunrise! We had a really red one a few days ago- blocked by trees tho. Too bad concrete blocks your view there- good thing you get out alot! Bet you make alot of great friends thru your work.
Missed that results show this week- but heard on Extra. So fasr seems singers always get the cash! All finalists deserved it- hope they all get good gigs.

I'm with ya on the cow thing. :)

You have some wonderful sunsets where you live. I remember. :)
