- My good friend makes gifts for the holidays to send to friends and family and uses the money she would have normally spent on gifts to donate to various non-profit organizations that are dedicated to helping others. A lovely idea and I am tickled pink with my hand-painted stationery.
- Over at Funsterment, Inc., there was a contest to win CDs with the song stylings of the most fun blogger in the blogosphere. I don't remember what it was I did to win it, but it sure was fun to get this package in the mail with CDs, lollipops and a hand-written note from Jannie's sidekick, Blue Bunny, who tells me I am "Awsim." You are awesome, too, BB.
- And my sister spotted this ceramic business card holder with a dragonfly on it and sent it to me, because she knows I like dragonflies. I like that it is holding all the things that come in the mail dedicated to the tax man.

I've got a Funster cd, too! :-)
A Jannie CD!!! And lollipops!! How cool!
And Blue Bunny is most definitely correct - you are AWESOME!!!
Lucky to get nice stuff in the mail- Nice stationary. Good of your friend to devote her time n energy. Wish I could do more.
I see Jannies been busy dishing out more cheer- She's really good at that! Lucky you- I'll have to listen to mine again soon-
I love when you're given the perfect knicknak for a current project- n that one is nifty!
What a neat idea to give handmade gifts and donate money to charity.
I have seen blue bunny comments on various blogs but don't really know anything about this particular blogger. Guess I'll have to check it out. Congratulations on your win.
All our mail these days goes into the "dedicated to tax man" file. It might take the edge off to have such a nice holder for these dreaded items.
What can I say about all the fine gifts. I'm so glad you got them.
Have a great day.
Wow - all things bright and beautiful! How nice is that? Nothing like snail mail full of delights!

I like that card holder, too. I already had one at work and so kept this one for my home office desk.
Granny Annie -
I admire her for doing that. And Jannie was my very first blog reader and I appreciate that she stuck around and lead to so many other nice blog friends like you.
Ellis -
Me, too. :)

Getting a package is such a fun thing. I like that - all things bright and beautiful.
Dragonflies... Have you read Will Campbell's "Brother to a Dragonfly"? It's a good book.
Shoot -- I'm glad to hear the great 3rd thing is not what's IN the letter holder. Tax man mail always makes me cringe, even before I open it. Yikes. But -- there are pills I can get for that, I hear. :)
xoxo
Glad it arrived. Took BB 20 minutes to write that. Nice photo set-up!
P.S. You won by Kelly picking a random comment number, I think? I forget! :)
Lynn -- Don't you love it when you get surprises in the mail? Lucky you about Jannie's special gift. Her CDs are great. I loved "I Need a Man."
Your hand-painted stationery is beautiful. You should have a contest and let someone win a box of it.
Perhaps the dragonfly holding the tax stuff will bring you good luck with it:~)
Have a great day.
How cool getting Jannie and Blue Bunny in the mail! Well not literally of course, and yes her blog is full of fun!
Dragonfly's are beautiful. :)
