Candygram! Becca's party, thank you for the music

- My hairdresser found this shark's head somewhere - he thinks it came from a parade float. (Always an adventure going over to his house.) It reminds me of the Land Shark from Saturday Night Live.

- Attending a bridal shower at which the only person I know is the bride-to-be, but finding common ground with all the other women. The young lady sitting next to me will be attending my first alma mater Georgia College and State University in the fall. I give her a tip on a part-time docent job and where the best bakery in Georgia can be found.

- Stopping by my volunteer organization in the late afternoon and finding Bettye in her office blasting Abba music. And more fun music in the form of Jannie's video of she and her friends playing her ukelele song. Thank you for the music!

My late father like ABBA. It's good to sing along with, but if you're not into that mid-to-late 70's disco/pop scene, it can take a while to get used to.

I must admit I like Abba songs for their sheer exhuberance. Their greatest hits CD is in my car for road trips for the times I need to sing to stave off sleepiness.

Wow, so you get your hair done at your haridresser's house? That's cool. At home, my parents' home that is, they come right to your house! Pretty cool, 'course it's a rural area so it goes over great. And you get all the gossip while getting beautified. (Good gossip of course - as we all love each other in our neck of the woods.)

I'll have to scoot over and see that Jannie-person's video! :)

Oh, I love ABBA too. Melodies were awesome!

Have you seen Muriel's Wedding?

Yes - he and his wife moved into the (rather sizable) basement of his mother's house so they could help her out. He built a salon right there next to their living quarters. He had to get permission from the county. I do like going there - he is quite a character and his wife is a jewelry designer so there is a fun and creative atmosphere.

Loved Muriel's Wedding!!!!!
